Mandalorian variation on the Helmet course
I’m currently studying @Nikita Kapustin 's excellent surface modeling course on the helmet. I wanted to see if I was able to apply the techniques without any help, so I decided to start modeling the Mandalorian helmet (Star Wars) in Plasticity. This was a lot of fun . (rendering in Keyshot Studio)

Help needed for tricky shape
Hello all, I'm tackling another Robert L Kiss design. A while back he designed a neat little sc-fi flyer (see pictures) and while most of the shapes are straightforward the front of the vehicle is proving very difficult to model. If anyone could give me some pointers on how you'd approach this I'd be really grateful.

Here I tried to get roughtly the shape with a Gordon surface well it's less accurate than split the surface but it could be a method ( a bit extreme in my file just exploring the idea )

well I think the more accurate strategy is certainly to split the surface in a bunch of four sized G1 or even better G2 patches. we will have much more control of the shape. With the Gordon methods it's very tricky to anticipate how the algorithm will interpolate the curvature. Anyway it's a fun project.
Water Bottle Design (from Exclusive Courses)
My first successful use of the last plasticity Deform command to put regular stripes on a curved face. It turn out a powerful tool. The original spherical holes I don't like at all so I had to improvise.

Mech continuation
All this talk of mechs made me want to try and finish the concept @Nikita Kapustin started in his recent YouTube tutorial. Not quite finished and not at all an exact replica of the concept, but I made a lot of progress and learnt a lot in the process, especially how powerful grouped instances are for live mirroring. So cool.

stunning texturing congrats
Helmet Tutorial
A fun one! Thanks, Nikita, for the enthusiastic teachings. Took a few days to get through, but learned a lot. By the way, maybe in the older Plasticity version there was no "Project" command, but now we can defo use it for the air intake meshes 🙌
