Cufflinks, Tie Bars, and Pins!
Just sharing my small collection so far. As I learn more, I know what I should look for/when to wear them and with what outfit. These small details really help set you apart imo.

That's quite the collection! Very nice!
The Best Fit is a Fit Body
A tailored suit or a nice leather jacket are great. But they won't look as good if the frame underneath isn't in shape. When you're physically fit, your clothes fit better, your posture improves, and your presence and confidence increase. Focus on building a fit physique, and complement it with nice clothes. Not the other way around. Thought?

I completely agree. While it may be uncomfortable to hear, the reason someone looks better in a suit than you might simply come down to being in better physical shape. That said, this doesn’t mean you need to train relentlessly or aim to become the next Ronnie Coleman. It’s simply about staying in reasonable shape—going to the gym once or twice a week, staying active, even just going for walks or runs. Personally, I fence foil for three hours each week and usually go to the gym once or twice. I’m far from shredded, but I maintain a solid frame, a good silhouette, and a decent level of strength. Not only that, you feel better after you exercise. Endorphins are released, dopamine, and serotonin. These chemicals help with many things, like stress management, pain reduction and generally feelings of well-being. Just as buying quality garments that last long are an investment in your wardrobe, proper exercise, dieting and a healthy lifestyle are an investment in your longevity and success.
New shoes
Just picked up these new hybrid dress shoes. Comfortable so far, better than the ones I was wearing this morning. Couldn’t pass up the sale.

Very nice. Glad they're comfortable for you! I'm not the biggest fan, but if they work for you, then it works!

Too light?
Been wanting a pair of chukka boots and was planning to get a brown leather pair and a suede pair. Originally I thought I wanted medium brown suede, but these caught my eyes. What does everyone else think? Nice or too light to pull off? FYI I live in SoCal so wet/dirty conditions aren't a huge problem and I also take pretty meticulous care of anything I own that is suede. Thanks in advance!

I don't have a problem with the colour, just as long as it's paired well. But do be careful of any staining, as I've had boots with ugly salt stains.

Just another guy who's trying his best to be better than the guy he was yesterday.
