Skool Course Theftβ€”"I never got the product"
Recently I had someone on Skool who is an active user here purchase a course (went through like 80% of it) and then reported to their credit card that they never got the course. I tried to fight the charge back but lost (even with proof). There is a signed contract. They don't respond to messages. On the one hand, I could just move on, but it's also pretty annoying and a descent amount of money. Anyone with any suggestions on how to handle such a thing? a) to prevent it in the future and b) to find resolution Anyone else have this sort of thing happen? what did you do?

- make your contract legally binding (99% of course folks have non-legally binding contracts) - include public notice as part of your contract for failure to pay - CC auth as part of the contract - onboarding call as part of process recorded with them saying they have access and all - onboarding flow in training that forces them to engage to document process following - document all that as part of the chargeback submission - dont be afraid of submitting to collections and public posting As a FYI even local service company contracts and processes follow effectively the same basics. If a roofing co wont hesitate to file a lien, why should you hesitate to collect money owed if you actually delivered and are following laws.

@Dewana Coffey You don't need a lawyer to put a lien on a consumer's house. Actually takes under 20 mins for our local services company to put a lien on a house.
