Good Afternoon, Gents. Just sharing a quick post about a spontaneous encounter I had while waiting for my flight. Not much of a story to go along with it, but somebody approached me while I was working on my laptop to compliment my outfit! They even asked to take a picture of me—needless to say, I was quite flattered. I couldn’t not ask them to share the photos with me, so here we are. It’s a relatively mundane anecdote, but nevertheless serves as a potent reminder: Dress well, no matter the occasion. Better yet—be the occasion to dress for. People can’t help but rise to occasions, so there’s no better way to attract serendipity. No better way to brighten the day of others along with your own!

One Year Ago. We were talking about ways to meet women. He said, " At one time I saw a lady in the grocery store and thought of hitting her cart with mine." " Why didn't you?" " It seemed juvenile and obnoxious." "Scott, I do it often." " Really? Well I guess that's not as bad as hitting her car! " " I do that also." I explained the when and we began getting along very well. A memory I thought I'd share.

Greetings gents, it is said the antidote to judgement and self-righteousness is empathy and self-awareness. In fact, empathy is one of our core values within the Society. As such, I would like to share this simple yet profound message with you. As we prepare for tomorrow, Thanksgiving, let's meet some of our wayward relatives and friends with a fresh set of lens. I wrote in my introductory post that I am interested in watches. The way I see it, I combine watches with memories or I buy watches because of the movement, since I am also really interested in watches from an engineering point of view. I'd like to share my 3 watch rotation with you, since these 3 watches are exactly what I described. My Omega x Swatch Moonswatch is the first watch I bought as a watch enthusiast and I've connected it to a turning point in my life. On the right, my Tissot PRX was the gift my grandma bought me for turning 18 and getting into university. I have a very close relationship with my grandma and this gift really means a lot to me, not only because it's my first automatic watch, but of course because it's a gift from her. Lastly, the watch on the left is the latest addition to my rotation and I bought it because of its jump hour movement. I find this movement very fun and I got it for a very good price, which fits into my second reason for buying a watch.
