FRAMES ARE LIVE - Everything You Need to Know!
Hey guys, Happy Thursday! We are thrilled to announce that we have FINALLY launched framed prints on PrintShrimp!! Those of you that have been around for a while honestly have probably given up hope, but I promise we have been working so hard behind the scenes to get these live 😆 Frames are available in 3 finishes (Oak, Black and White). All frames arrive ready to hang. Please view the attached pdfs for images and more details. So, what do you need to do? Obviously, frames don't automatically appear for sale on your Etsy shop. Before you start panicking about how much it will be to add frames to all of your listings - don't worry! We have built a couple of tools that allow you to add frames to all of your listings (and yes you can use them for free) These will create your listings so they are set up with variation options for Print Only Black Frame Oak Frame White Frame Attached is a screenshot of what your listings will look like after adding them with the tool Head to your portal and click on the new tab 'Frame Launch' Please please please watch the YouTube videos (and pay attention lol) that go through how to add frames to your shops. It's a simple process but there are a few things you need to do to add frames, and the videos explain it all to you very clearly. The two main things you need to do are: Edit your listings to have one SKU: For us to edit your listings and add frames, we need all of your listings to have one SKU per product. We have built a tool that will identify where your listings differ and clean them up for you. You will need to do this as step 1 if your products have multiple SKUs (i.e. an SKU for each size variation) Actually edit your listings to add framed variations: This is where the magic happens. You need to do a few things such as disable global and domestic pricing, so please watch the videos that details all of this. We have our recommended pricing built into the software that will apply to all of your listings, for frames and print only. This includes some modifications to print only recommended pricing we had before (which means higher profits for you guys compared to before). I have attached a guide with the new recommended pricing below! Here you can get a snapshot of the expected profits from selling frames! This is based on UK prices and accounts for UK VAT when charged and Etsy fees.

Should 'additional item' be £0 for 'Everywhere else' and 'EU2

@Mihai Volintiriu so if they bought 3 items from me, they'd only pay 1 postage I assume that's saying. I'm happy for you to reply no shit Sherlock, but just checking
Customer complaint about blurry print!!
Need some help here. Not ideal for my second order.. I’ve apologised to them, asked for pictures, and said I’ll look into it with the printing team and we can replace or refund.

@Mihai Volintiriu can you just confirm the order these need to be in please. Also, for the ones I've already created, can I just upscale in Canva now or will I have to start from scratch? Import midjourney image into canva Add Canva text Upscale using canva Use the sliding bar to make it 9933 x 14043 and download image

Complete orders
Hi there, at what point do I mark the order as complete?

@Mihai Volintiriu Hi. Is this the process you still follow? Just had my first order and want to get the process right in my head. You mention above about orders getting sent Sunday Evening, but Print Shrimp don't send on weekends do they? If I had an order come in Friday, couldn't I mark as complete on Etsy, and add the dispatch date as Monday, and add tracking ref once it arrives?
Pricing
I've had an order come through for a 28x40 inch poster from the US. So this costs £25 to make and send. After all costs, I'm only left with £10 profit. My US prices are £3 more than the UK prices. I'm wondering what everyone else does. Would you individually increase the price for these specific sizes or keep the general few quid above the UK price. My worry would then be that nobody would want to buy it, if I increased the price for the sake of more profit. Would love to know people's thoughts! Thanks

Fair enough. Im still trying to workout how you got £1.92 profit for the A5 when you sold for £11.99 and it cost you £8.39?

@Mihai Volintiriu thanks for clarifying
Novice needing advice
Stupid question, Gemini has generated this at 768 x 1376. I assume that's their standard resolution? Is this any good? What poster size could this go up to? Thanks

@Jayne Mcauley Thanks Jayne. I've scrapped that original print of Exeter I posted and started from fresh. Correct me if I've been doing this wrong, I've started creating A2 posters in Canva, using upscaled Mid Journey pics, then using DPI converter after Canva, to make them 300DPI. My plan is to make them all in this way, and then modify to 2:3. 3:4, and 4:5 at the time of order. I think this is what Tom recommended.

@Jayne Mcauley hey. You've said previously you offer everything in 2:3 and A format. As for the original creations, you said you do 2:3 as it's easier to convert into A. I've started doing this now, but have a query. I've got to the point of uploading to Print Shrimp/Etsy. Tom said you can bulk upload in A format only. Do you find this an issue? I'm just considering whether it's best going for what's suited with Print Shrimp over what's best for converting to other sizes. Thanks
