I am writing a Book.
Just wanted to share it quickly. I ran a Skool community from early days of Skool when it was not open for public. Helped one company raise over $10mil through community building. Wrote for Forbes on the same. But it feels like I am not able to contribute to my potential. I feel there are two types of people in service: 1. Kings 2. Kingmakers. Kings play on the front. They are charming, fancy influence-worthy individuals who can lead the crowd towards a worthy goal. And there are kingmakers. Those who know how things work. Their talent lies in discovering Kings and turning ordinary ideas into real dreams. I remember the story of 2nd prime minister of India... He once said, there are two types of stones in Taj Mahal... The bright, white marblestones that everyone sees and admires. And there are foundation stones... deep burried in the ground that no one remembers. But without those stones there is no Tajmahal. I am finding joy lately in not being famous and helping people create great things instead. Not sure for how long I will admire it. I don't know if it is even a worthy goal to follow. But as as the first step in this direction (because my heart tells me to do so), I am writing a book called "Community Building Secrets". It will be available on Kindle. If you are building a community and you want to offer me initial feedback on it, please DM me. I will truly appreciate. If not, that is also fine. I truly appreciate you.

$54,841/month Community ➕ 999x Your YouTube Channel?
One important lesson I learned in the Skool games was that consistent growth requires a consistent high quality traffic source. If you're trying to win the games your growth has to be consistent day after day. And you only have 30 days to lock in your win, so focus is a must. The games force you to think about those daily tasks that can drive traffic to your community. For me, there was really only one lever I could pull to make that happen, YouTube. It's the only platform where when I put in more time on the video I know I get better results. My channel was growing before the Games, but everything changed for the better when I changed my YouTube strategy. And it's simple. - Make the best video on YouTube about that topic - Make a video ONLY you could think up and execute - Give away every detail and step (don't hide anything) I started spending 2-3 days on each video, instead of a few hours and my channel has grown 999x compared to the year before. I also personally make each YouTube thumbnail 1-2 hours. It changed everything for my channel, and frankly my business, and helped me get to #12 on the all time leaderboard for the Skool games. I don't do any channel research, keyword research, competitor analysis, none of it. I'm not saying that stuff doesn't work, I don't really know. But I do know what has been working for me. I just try and make the best video on YouTube. Take a look at the YouTube graph below. The first big spike is when Hormozi announced he was investing in Skool (this made all my existing Skool YT videos blow up!). The next big spike happened June 1st when I entered the Skool games and decided to give everything away on YouTube. I tell you this now because you could wait 1-2 years to do this like I did, or you can start right now and get there a WHOLE LOT FASTER. You don't need a YouTube strategist, you don't need "consistency", you just need to put in the energy to make a great video without fear that no one will hire you (they will).

Nice Tie. Gotta buy one. lol
I Feel Scared and Sick to My Stomach 1/4 Of the Time
In case fear or feeling outside your comfort zone holds you back, know that you are not alone. I feel scared, alone, sick, incapable.... at least 1/4 of the time I walk around on this earth with you. Sometimes I want to sulk in that feeling but Ive learned that the faster you can be aware of that feeling and take some action the faster it leaves you. If you don't take action, small fears can become downright terrifying and debilitating. 99% of most fear is imaginary and you’ll see that when you take action. It's ok and normal and just means you're alive. Carry on.

Community Engagement Tip!
I want to share something I have discovered in the community-building game. "MICRO-CHALLENGES". Nothing brings more engagement and life in the community than launching your micro-challenges; "supporting each other move towards a specific result." I started a "30-day YouTube challenge" in our community, and I am amazed to see people taking action and others supporting them along the way. This is inspiring for me as there are only 84 people in the tribe, and I don't accept most applications that don't align with community values. Next, I might promote challenges as a lead magnet for the community. Any thoughts on this? Who else is doing it?
