Ever feel like you're running around like a chicken with your head cut off?
Same things on the list. Same fires to put out. And somehow the stuff that actually matters keeps getting pushed to "later." Stephen Covey nailed it in 7 Habits: There's a difference between what's urgent and what's important. Urgent screams at you. Important whispers. Training? Important. Not urgent. Eating right? Important. Not urgent. Breathwork? Important. Not urgent. Nobody's going to call you in a panic because you skipped your workout. But skip it enough and everything else starts breaking down. The fix isn't willpower. It's deciding in advance. When you plan your week before it starts, you protect what matters. When you wait and react? Urgent wins. Every time. That's what Foundation Challenge is really about. You already decided what's important. Now defend it. 👇 Two questions for you today: 1. What's something important but NOT urgent you're protecting this week? 2. Do you plan ahead — or do you figure it out as you go? Drop it below. Let's start the week with intention.

@Jolee Josephs it really is! I'm determined, just not disciplined yet.

🔋 Fuel Check: What's Your Go-To Boost?
Besides food… what do you reach for when you need a little kick? 👇 Vote in the poll, then drop a comment. I’m curious: - Does it change depending on the day? - Stress vs. training days? - Morning vs. late afternoon? If you make your own drink or use a “stack” that works for you — share it.We’re building this together, and someone here needs your idea. Let’s learn from each other. 👊

In the past I have eaten an apple, and that gave me the energy I needed. BUT it's so hard for me to eat apples when they aren't in season.

@Jason Reed yes! And now I'm hoping breathwork will be my go-to energy boost.
🏠 Friday Family: Who Do You Grind For?
Most of the time we talk about habits, training, discipline. The what and the how. But we don't talk enough about the who. Who are you grinding for? Not in a cheesy "motivation" way. In a real way. The person who's counting on you to stay healthy. The kid who's watching how you show up. The partner who needs you present, not just productive. Yesterday was my wife Colleen's 50th birthday. Instead of just saying happy birthday, I wrote her 50 reasons she's my why. 👉 50 Reasons You're My Why: https://open.substack.com/pub/tkdjreed/p/50-reasons-youre-my-why?r=1xf896&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web For me it's Colleen, Spencer, and Sammi. Everything I build is for them — even when they don't see the work. 👇 Your turn: Who do you grind for? Drop a name, a photo, or just finish this: "I grind for ______ because ______."

I am still working on good health habits. I'm not at the level most of you are, and I'm ok with that. I'm starting because I see so many people in such bad health in their 60s, 70s, and beyond and I want to try to combat that. Ya'll are such an inspiration to me... thank you!
🔥 FOUNDATION CHALLENGE
Normally Thursday is Fuel Day. Today we're launching something bigger. Pick ONE habit. Do it every single day through February 28. Not 5 things. Not "I'll try." One habit. Daily. Non-negotiable. Examples: - 10-minute walk - 12-hour fast - 5 minutes of breathwork (videos in Classroom) - Drink water first thing - No phone first hour awake - Train 3x/week (pick your days now) - Meal prep every Sunday Small habits compound. Consistency beats intensity. How This Works: 1. Pick your ONE habit 2. Do it daily through Feb 28 3. Check in here when you need support 4. We celebrate the ones still standing March 1 👇 Your turn: What's your ONE habit for the next 38 days? Drop it below. 💪 --- P.S. — Fuel Thursday posts return next week. Right now, I want to see who's serious about building foundations. P.P.S. — Healthy recipes from Matt K & Sammi dropping in Classroom Friday.

⏳ The Hidden Cost of “Waiting” 📉
Last week we talked about decision fatigue. This week, let’s look at the other side of that coin: indecision. We tell ourselves we’re “waiting for the right time” 🤔 Or that we’re “keeping options open.” But most of the time, we’re just delaying the inevitable. Indecision is a decision. • A decision to let the clock run out ⏰ • A decision to let pressure choose for you • A decision that usually ends in unnecessary stress 😬 When decisions get pushed to the last second, we don’t execute—we react. That’s where mistakes happen. The antidote isn’t working harder 💥 It’s having a plan 🛠️ When decisions are made ahead of time, the noise gets quieter. Whether that’s: - A simple checklist ✅ - A rough schedule 🗓️ - Or tools like the breathwork sessions in this group 🧠🌬️ Structure removes stress. 👇 Your turn: • What’s ONE decision you’ve been putting off that you can finalize today? • How do you plan your day or week to avoid stress or mistakes? One sentence is plenty. Awareness beats perfection. Let’s build the week. 💪🔥
