My Free Onboarding + Ads Strategy (190 Sales in 19 Days $23,750 MRR)
in this video I break down exactly the strategy I'm currently using to scale both my free & paid Skool community. We started offering Free Onboarding Calls with a "Specialist" and it has been working like a charm. We're providing massive free value to our group and we're converting customers as well. Win-Win! On top of this I've been playing around a lot with paid ads lately. I think I've found the formula that works the best right now (Prior to free trials getting released) Let me know what you guys think and if you have any questions. Hopefully this was helpful 🚀

@Jay Leo yeah it's really annoying, it should be triggered on approval
You´re not listening!
I have an assessment that me, and some other people that I am observing, are not being listened to. I think group chats are quite essential. We have moved from Slack to Skool and moved our participants with us and we are observing and assessing that this element is very crucial & essential to our community. We have assessed that the intimacy that group chats bring in are very essential for our course. May not be for many other courses you host at Skool. We are your early customers, we moved to Skool because we appreciate the platform you have created, it takes care of multiple concerns of ours but this one! And on multiple requests, it has been coming up again and again as a concern for us and our participants. Our team still co-ordinates on Slack, and I got that Skool by design is not for that. But not having the group chat, we can foresee several problems for us in future: No Group Chat does not allow us to communicate with one cohort. If we want to make new Provocative content for our current Cohort. We have to come up with newer content for every cohort in future so its not repetitive. Small announcements, meant for the current cohort, have to be made available to all past and future cohorts. Both content & announcements are/ will be repeat communications. We want to address different concerns of different people in multiple cohorts and use the community to be the place where all of them come together. The courses now, they allow us selective access. There are sub-communities existing in one large group of ours. Group Chat, like in Slack or other places, takes care of this aspect. We have seriously considered ever since launching our course on Skool to move back to Slack or elsewhere. Now, I acknowledge that the course delivery is beautifully structured. So we are in conversations with our participants and amongst us for that matter.

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe 1.5 years later, update?
Group Chats
As we're migrating over to Skool which is insanely valuable to our students, some students are asking if they can create groups in messages. We urge many to get into accountability partnerships/groups and now with Skool having the location feature being searchable is awesome, but many simply want to completely phase out of FB & other platforms and just live on skool since now everything is here. @Sam Ovens is there a way around that or is that something you guys are thinking of implementing? Thanks,

@Sam Ovens There's a huge difference. Privacy?
New features: Action posts + Pin post to module
Sometimes you want your members to take action. For example: Introduce yourself and share a photo of your workspace, or... Play this song on the guitar and share a video of you doing it. Simple actions make your community more interactive and fun. Remember the ice bucket challenge? Action posts — Describe the action you want your members to complete. When somebody comments, the action will be marked as complete. Pinning posts to modules — Now you can pin posts to course modules to make them more practical and interactive. For example: Your first module could be "Welcome! Start here" and give a quick overview of how things work with a call to action at the end to introduce themself and share a photo. You can pin any post to a module, it doesn't have to be an action post. You could pin posts relevant to the module, or a post with the title: "Module XYZ - Questions/discussion here" and use it as a comments section. Your turn: Complete this action by telling us what you think?

Can we get a way to link one post to multiple modules? I just want a discussion thread about the course in general, but access to that thread under each video. So what I really want is a comment thread but what's the work around?
