Day 18 | Journal | 12/07/2025 Wake Time: 12:00 PM Sleep Time: 4:00 AM Daily Log: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: After waking up, I checked messages from my close friend and then helped my university friend prepare a PowerPoint presentation. 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Went to the salon to get ready for the walima event. 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Returned home from the salon, got the ride, and we all left for the walima. 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM: The walima took place at Kallisto Marquee, Bahria Phase 7. I reached, found a suitable seating spot, and sat comfortably in the chair, and folded the wheelchair. Soon after, my entire family gathered around to meet me. I kept telling everyone not to touch my head so my makeup wouldn’t get ruined, show your love on my hands instead 😅. Most of the relatives who came to meet me kept asking who they were. I said, “I didn’t recognize you?” and then either they told me themselves or my mother introduced them to me. Some people I remembered, but some I hadn’t seen in many years, so I couldn’t recall them. Actually, I lost my memory a few years ago when I became seriously ill in 2019, so I don’t remember everyone. With time, whenever I meet someone again, I slowly remember who they are. I wore an online-ordered purple maxi with full work on it, and kept having my photoshoot throughout the event. The bride looked stunning in her light pink maxi dress. The bride and groom also came to meet me, and my cousin (the groom) brought food for me, insisting I would try this because it was delicious. Both my mother’s and father’s sides of the family came to meet me. Also, the food was amazing, and there were all kinds of dishes. I enjoyed the salad, fish, beef roast, cake, rice, and some Coke. Alhamdulillah, the event was beautifully arranged, and my cousins had put a lot of effort into it. 12:00 AM – 1:00 AM: booked the ride, and then when the ride came, I met another QZN bro. He's quite funny, and I talked to him and then told him I am doing software engineering and am a graphic designer. He was surprised that I am doing a lot, and he himself can't even study😅. Then he helped me to sit in the car, and we returned home with my mom and brother.

Alhamdulillah for moments like this. If someone had told me 10 years ago that one day I would buy something this meaningful with my own money, I wouldn’t have believed it. I was a completely different version of myself back then unsure, dependent, and never imagining I’d reach a point where I could provide for myself. But life has a way of unfolding in the most unexpected ways. Allah has a way of guiding you gently, step by step, even when you don’t notice it. This MacBook wasn’t bought from freelancing it’s from the money I earned through tuitions. And I’m sharing this because sometimes we all need a reminder: Growth takes time. Consistency matters. And every small effort made with trust in Allah eventually leads you somewhere beautiful. If you’re on your journey, don’t stop. Your duaas, your struggles, your little steps they will all be worth it, In shaa Allah. Here’s to new beginnings and silent prayers becoming visible blessings. 🌿✨

1. My day began at 4:30 AM with Tahajjud, a quiet and peaceful moment that helped me start the morning with sincerity and focus. 2. At 5:30 AM, I offered Fajr prayer, followed by morning Azkar. This spiritual routine brought calmness and barakah to the start of my day. 3. From 6:00 to 8:00 AM, I slept with my kids. Staying with them brought comfort to their little hearts and helped them ease back to sleep. 4. Between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, I searched for jobs on Upwork. 5. From 9:30 to 10:30 AM, I prepared breakfast for the kids and handled basic household tasks to organize the morning. 6. Between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, I completed household chores and also prepared lunch. 7. At 2:00 PM, I offered Zuhr prayer, and after that, I served lunch to guests and family members. This part of the day was busy but fulfilling. 8. From 4:00 to 5:00 PM, I spent time with the kids, giving them attention and helping them with small tasks. 9. From 5:00 to 6:00 PM, I prayed Maghrib and completed additional household tasks. 10. Between 6:00 and 9:00 PM, I cooked dinner for the guests, which required effort to prepare different dishes, especially after an already long day. 11. From 9:00 to 11:00 PM, we had dinner, served and shared with the family and guests. Setting room for guestes and put kids to bed for sleep. 12. At 11:30 PM, I prayed Isha and recited the Qur’an, including Surah Al-Mulk, which I make sure to read before sleeping.
