How I Hire My Video Editors (The Hiring Funnel)
I show you step-by-step how I get a lot of editors to come to me as opposed to spending time searching for them. This is a response to @Jacob Zangel and @Trey Tanella who asked me how I hire my editors and thought it would be useful for the rest of the community. Here are the groups I use: https://www.facebook.com/groups/419711328203538/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/videoeditorsphils/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/591129660989608/ https://discord.gg/hvhvhCav The form builder I use: https://tally.so/ I can also send you this list of editors so you can contact them yourself if you want. I also have a shortlist of qualified editors I've worked with in the past that I can pass along to you. Just send me a message!

💭YouTube Shorts to promote Long-Form Videos?
I was thinking about this strategy...🤔 ..and thought I should share it with you guys... What if a shorts channel (or lots), was an isolated channel, that points every short to a long-form video on the main channel? With a CTA to view the long-form (Watch this video to learn how!). And precondition the viewer to the main video. I might not be the first to come up with this one, but it's worth trying as it can work as an SEO boost. Because YouTube acts like Google (same duh, lol), and shorts channels should act like PBN? or secondary content? What do you think about this?

I tried this, but it didn't work very well. My sense is that people scrolling short form videos are not very likely to stop and watch a long form video. They're two different activities.
What's your #1 challenge with post-production?
Hi friends, stoked to have found this community! I'm a pro video editor from Italy based in LA and would love to contribute to the group - I've had the chance to work for big media brands like MasterClass and Amazon Studios (did some social promos for the movie AIR and currently doing some for their new show The Curse) where I had to handle large volumes of content. What is one question or challenge you have with post-production? This could be anything from organizing your media assets to the actual editing process. Comment below and I'll do my best to make a post answering your question :)
