The Stress of Moving Reflection
Everyone knows that the stress of moving is one of the top stresses you can have but it's interesting how that stress takes form in different ways. I am in the process of moving and the last time I moved was long before I got on this journey of being a gentleman. Back then, the stress took the form of me feeling sick a lot. This time the stress is taking a little different form and the only reason I can think of is that I have started this journey. Now, the stress comes in the form of not wanting to dress up when I am working from home and only when I go out and I have lost my desire to cook which has become a hobby of mine since I started this journey.

Hear you Stephen. Pray that it will pass quickly. Rest is good during this time
To be… or not to be?
Not a question of comfort. Not a question of convenience. A question of who you choose to become. To be a gentleman is not a title you claim, it is a standard you rise to. It is discipline when no one is watching. It is restraint when every instinct says react. It is presence, purpose, and quiet strength in a noisy world. So here is the challenge: Will you remain as you are or will you step forward, sharpen yourself, and become the man few choose to be? To be… a gentleman.

@Jo Henderson Thank you for sharing this, it’s appreciated. I understand your concern, and it’s not our intention for anyone to feel left out. While our focus is on guiding men to become gentlemen, we believe the essence of what it means to be a lady is best expressed by women themselves. We’d really encourage you and other ladies in the Society to take the lead in creating posts and shaping that space. Your voice is valued here

Did You Notice?
There are times I feel I prove the definition of insanity, “ Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” And the reality is I am fighting myself by trying make major changes that I really was not ready to make and expecting it all to work out. So how do I make changes without failing or making a fool out of myself? How can I make changes that people don’t think that I’m faking or that I am trying too hard? This is what I learned, if I can work on getting 1% better every day, most people think improvement requires massive change. They wait for motivation, they plan for tomorrow, but ancient philosophy teaches us something; radical greatness is not built in leaps, it is built in barely noticeable steps repeated with relentless consistency. Think about this, clearly 1% better every day doesn’t feel like progress, it feels like nothing and that is exactly why it works. Your mind doesn’t resist small changes it resists revolution. The stoics understood this deeply Marcus Aurelius didn’t become wise overnight. He wrote one reflection at a time, day after day, year after year, small deposits into the bank of discipline. Gentlemen, here’s the truth most miss; if you improve just one percent daily for one year you don’t just improve, you also grow, learn, and make tangible gains in your life.

Online Photo album
I’m considering creating an online photo album for the Society, where each member has their own chapter to showcase their journey and progress as a gentleman, along with a dedicated section for the ladies. Not just pictures of style but your interests as well, into you own portfolio. What are your thoughts? This is separate from the magazine. I’m currently looking for contributions, so if you can recommend any gentleman service providers, such as bespoke tailors, barbers, or shoe care specialists who can contribute. I’d appreciate it. I’m happy to reach out to them if needed.

@Randall Mastin yes a collection of pictures. We would have to limit the pictures per member. But the idea is to show case the best pictures per member. It will look like a photo album. No text.

And if we need stock images for the magazine or video. We can source from the album
