@Stephen Arnold Thank you.. Stephen
Gone but still on my cellphone
We have to value and appreciate one another. Every one in the Society is precious, And valued. And we are on this journey together as gentlemen brothers. This hit home hard tonight. I was going through my contacts on my cellphone. To invite men to the Society. And just realised how many men in my contacts that has pass away. Unbelievable amount. Heart broken. Some very close. The older one becomes, the lost of love one's and friends become very real it seems. You are Precious! Tell your love one's that you love them.

@Stephen Arnold Very hard. Too many, too soon
What have you spent too much money on?
We all have that thing in our wardrobe we have spent too much money on. A guilty pleasure, something we really really wanted. Maybe a watch, a ring, a bespoke suit? Spending too much money is relative, if you love it then it wasn't too much money. But what do you feel guilty about buying? What is your story? Mine is a Fedora. I have at least a dozen fedoras of various qualities and looks. I am a thrifty person so I usually look for very good deals in vintage Fedoras. However, recently I found a vintage Mallory beaver felt chocolate brown fedora from the mid 1940s in nearly mint condition (I thought) on ebay. It cost 4 times what I would normally spend but it was exactly what I wanted. When I got it in the mail I sent it directly to McLaughlin & Hayes in Milwaukee for a full professional cleaning and reblocking. To my annoyance as could be expected the hat band stitching was rotting off the hat and it had to be replaced and restitched and the original band reinforced. The restoration bill cost more than the hat, which was 4 tines more than I should have spent. A little over $450.00 for a fedora....Oops...but I got what I wanted. I will send photos when I get it back. What's your story?

Looking awesome. And I like the train
My life in Shorts
Introduction. Seasons change, circumstances change, things will never remain the same. As it is properly recorded in the good book, there is no new thing under the sun. Given the opportunity to introduce myself to this wonderful society, allow me to tell you about myself. I am not a poet but don't be shocked if I write a poem. It's hard for me to write in summary my 31 years of lifetime experience but I don't want to waste the precious time of the reader so I will tell you some bits and pieces. The ones I cannot tell you are secrets and undiscovered talents which sometimes surprises me. Don't be mistaken,I'm not reckless.I like experimenting new things and in that euphoria, I'm gone. I'm sometimes quiet and observant but not chary in my comfort zone or when pushed to the wall. My Faith. I believe that the only way to salvation is putting all your faith in Jesus Christ alone. I believe in once, saved always saved. I believe the Bible is the true Word of God and anyone can understand the Bible and make a choice. This is where my actions and decisions evolve around and don't feel attacked if I seem hard on you for pulling some strings on any of these principles. Don't worry, I'm a sinner like everyone else only saved by grace. My Aspirations. I always like to think forward so I easily get upset when things “go south”. I like things to continue the same way but I'm learning that is not the order of life. I want to be a good father, if not great, to my children. I also want to meet new people and help them as much as I can. The end. If you've made it this far into this boring summary of my life, if it qualifies as such, thank you. I would like to know yours too.

@Albert Asiamah My wife is a social worker, she works in the township, a very poor black community. She is responsible for 295 young black orphans. Huge undertaking. She works late often and have to deal with serious problems. But you are right, she has experienced the same . And said the same. She is called the white mama, by the children in their language. She has worked for 13 yrs in the township. I was really concerned about her safety in the beginning , but the community members keeps her safe.
