Pasta is King
There are very few things that are as easy, delicious, and inexpensive as pasta. With the emergence of the heavenly "protein noodle", things just got a game change! I'm a sucker for spaghetti and meatballs, so here's my take. Swap any ingredients for personal favorites, but don't go too far from the trail adding additional things, simple is the name of the game. This recipe serves 2. PASTA: (cook as the box instructs) - 4oz of dry Barilla Protein+ Spaghetti MEATBALLS: (Air fry 400 degrees, 10-12 minutes) - 1lb of 93% lean ground turkey - 1 egg - Salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano - 1-2 tbsp parmesan This should make around 12 meatballs MARINARA: (heat in a pan while meatballs cook) - 1cup RAO's marinara Macros: 52g P, 48g C, 23g F, 590cal / serving Of course if pesto is more your vibe, the YouTube video I attached is AWESOME!

14-Day Detox Results
After running a 14-day detox program out of Detroit Thrive, we've seen some really big back to school turn arounds for busy parents. In just two weeks we saw clients losing anywhere between 2-6lbs of body fat. If you need an easy and bare-bones grocery list and eating guide comment below! If there's enough interest I'll upload a full breakdown to the classroom.

Creatine supplementation
I'm hearing /reading all about the benefits of creatine supplementation for active individuals (strength, fatigue resistance, better tolerance for high intensity exercise, muscle mass, etc...). This all sounds great, but I am concerned about weight gain. Even though I'm told that this is most often related to water retention, I would still prefer to not gain any more weight. Is there a way around this?

I love Creatine! Creatine works by being absorbed into your muscle cells, where it draws water from the surrounding areas into the muscles. This process increases the water content inside the cells, leading to greater muscle volumization and hydration. As a result, the water that might otherwise contribute to subcutaneous bloating is shifted inward, which can help your muscles appear more defined and less puffy. In other words, although creatine can cause a modest weight gain due to increased intracellular water, it often results in a leaner, more sculpted look—enhancing muscle fullness, including in areas like the glutes.

I would've chosen hip thrusts if that were an option
What do you do for physical activity?
This can range from 6 days multiple hours in a gym (probably overdoing it) to only cleaning the house (probably under doing it) so my question is what is your main source of movement? Then give some details, what about it is satisfying, what part do you struggle with?

I work out 5 days a week, focusing on lifting heavy weights. My favorite exercise is hip thrusts—I love being able to load up the bar, and honestly, I swear I don’t feel much difference, so I just keep throwing on more weight, haha! It’s super satisfying to see how much I can handle, and it really challenges me in the best way.
