✨The New FujiFilm Film Stock LUT Pack Is Now Inside the Classroom
I just added the FujiFilm Film Stock LUT Pack to the Resolve School classroom. This pack includes 11 finishing LUTs inspired by classic Fuji film stocks and designed to emulate the feel of a film print. These are not corrective LUTs. They are meant to sit at the very end of your color pipeline, after exposure, white balance, and contrast are already dialed in. Think of them as the final layer that gives your footage cohesion, contrast discipline, and subtle film character. Fuji-inspired looks tend to lean slightly cleaner and more restrained compared to warmer print styles. You get controlled saturation, refined highlight roll-off, natural skin tones, and a consistent tonal response that feels intentional instead of overly processed. The goal is not heavy stylization. The goal is a finished image that feels cohesive and polished. HOW YOU CAN GET IT You have two options: 1. You can purchase the FujiFilm LUT pack individually inside the classroom if you want this specific look. 2. Or you can join the Premium Membership and get access to: - All LUT packs and presets - The full classroom - The 3-Hour Edit System - Live Calls and resources If you’re already building inside Resolve consistently, Premium usually makes more sense long term. If you grab the pack and use it on a project, drop a still frame or short clip in the comments. I’d love to see how you’re using it and what footage you’re applying it to. QUICK POLL Where are you at with LUTs?

Not for the time being but maybe I will change that in the future...
Saturday check-in 👋
Curious what everyone’s in the middle of right now. What are you editing this weekend, where did you get stuck this week, or what finally clicked in a project that used to slow you down? I've been blasting through some "overdue" edits I've been pushing off this week, so I've been a bit quiet here in the community. Drop a quick update below. If you want eyes on something specific, say so.

Oops, I got caught up editing in CapCut again! My apologies, it seems old habits die hard, and this one is definitely proving to be a bit 'sticky'!
✨ This Script Turns Timeline Markers Into Batch Exports in Resolve
Quick share because this ended up being way more useful than I expected. I’ve built a small DaVinci Resolve script that lets you batch export clips from a single timeline using markers. You drop a marker at the start of each section you want to export, name the marker what you want the file to be called, run the script, and Resolve automatically builds the entire render queue for you. Each marker becomes its own render job. The marker name becomes the filename. Exports follow whatever Deliver preset you choose, including the output folder. If marker names repeat, it auto-numbers them. And each clip ends one frame before the next marker, so nothing bleeds into the next export. This was inspired by a video from @Ethan Robbins, who is also a member here. He built a much more advanced version with a full UI, more options, and extra controls. It’s seriously impressive and worth checking out if you want something deeper and more customizable. I’ll link Ethan’s video below, along with his script, if you want to grab that version. Ethan's Video Ethan's Script I also posted a walkthrough video below so you can see my script running in real time, from markers on the timeline to a filled render queue in one click. I’ve added the script to the Classroom as well. You can find it anytime in the Tools and Resources section and download it whenever you need it. Huge shout-out to Ethan for the inspiration here. This is one of those small workflow things that ends up saving a surprising amount of time. If you try it, let me know how you’re using it or what you’d want it to do next.

Good tips, thanks for sharing!
Added a new video to the FOUNDATIONS LIBRARY 👇
Quick note, I added a video to the Foundations Library that I posted on YouTube about a week ago, and thought it’d be useful here too. It’s focused on the main technical settings that make Resolve feel slow for beginners, things like playback resolution, proxies, optimized media, render cache, and timeline resolution. These are the spots that usually cause lag and choppy playback, even on decent machines. If Resolve has felt sluggish or annoying lately, this should help smooth things out pretty quickly. Let me know if anything in there fixes an issue you’ve been dealing with.

This video is such a breath of fresh air! Especially for those of us coming from the world of Capcut, it’s like finally finding the missing piece of the puzzle. My editing brain definitely thanks you!
Resolve School Live Hangout, Memberships & 3 Hour Edit System
I’ve noticed there have been a lot of good questions lately, mostly around the membership tiers and the 3-Hour Edit System, and a few people asking for clarification on how things fit together. So instead of answering everything piecemeal, I figured it’d be easier (and more fun) to just hop on a call and talk it through with you. I’m going to use the Resolve Room live call tomorrow at 1 PM Eastern as an open info and hangout session. Normally, those calls are for Premium and VIP members, but this one is open to everyone in the community. If you’re curious about: • The different membership options • How the 3-Hour Edit System actually works in practice • What’s coming next inside Resolve School • Or you just want to meet some of the people here and ask questions live Come hang out. No pressure, no pitchy vibes. Just a conversation, some clarity, and a chance to put faces to names. Would love to see you there 🤝 If you can't make it live, then ask your questions or thoughts in the comments below 👇
