Hello to this beautiful, growing community! First, I want that express my sincere gratitude to you for joining this new community group. I appreciate you being here while I'm setting things up and "opening the doors," so to speak. I have a lot of great plans and ideas, and I look forward to creating a space that helps you feel balanced and able to recharge for whatever life brings you. In the coming days, I'll begin sharing content and resources that support your journey in mindfulness and yoga. But in the meantime... Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the US. While this holiday has a long history, it has blossomed into a beautiful tradition of bringing people together and expressing gratitude for the things that matter most to us. Gratitude gets a lot of lip service this time of year. But I want to talk about what it actually does, not just in a fluffy โgood vibes onlyโ way, but in a real, physiological, nervous system-supporting way. Because when youโre juggling holiday plans, end-of-year deadlines, and daily life thatโs already overflowingโฆโBe gratefulโ can sound more like a guilt trip than a lifeline. โ But hereโs the truth: Gratitude, practiced intentionally, isnโt just about being polite or spiritually evolved. Itโs a tool. A reset button. A way back to yourself. In this week's YouTube video, I talk about what happens when you build a habit of pausing for gratitude (even for 30 seconds). ๐ You can watch it here on YouTube now.โ (or check it out below!๐) โ Hereโs the short list: โ
You shift from chaos to calmโ โ
You reconnect with youโ โ
You make space for joy โ right now โ So, whatโs the takeaway? Gratitude is more than a mindset. Itโs medicine. You donโt need to write a 3-page journal entry or feel blissed out every time. You just need a moment. A breath. A real reflection of what is going right. Try it now: - Close your eyes. - Take a slow breath in through your nose. - Think of one thing โ simple or profound โ that youโre truly grateful for.(And yes, you can be grateful for the same thing every day. That still counts.)
