Setting Intentions
Happy Monday! I know this time of year is hectic and busy as ever. I find it helpful to take a moment or two to organize my thoughts and write down the things I intend to do that day/week. But while the to-do list helps us feel productive, there are other feelings we can work toward as well. When it comes to setting intentions, let's not just focus on what we need to DO, let's also focus on how we want to FEEL. So, as you jot down your to-do list today (or tomorrow), I invite you to include an intention of how you want to feel at the end of the day. Let that intention guide your actions for the day. If you feel comfortable sharing, I'd love to hear what your intention is for today/this week. Share in the comments below!

My intention this week is to feel productive and also present. I have a few engagements this week with friends and it is also "crunch time" to make sure everything is ready before the holidays. So while I want to make sure I'm getting the necessities done so I'm prepared for the next few weeks, I also want to make sure I'm not stressing and missing out on spending joyous time with people who make me happy :).

Well done on completing another week in the busiest time of the year! I hope you've had a chance to practice self-care, hopefully by moving your body a bit and pausing to connect with your mind. As we head into the weekend, I'd love to know........ What is your FAVORITE holiday/seasonal beverage at this time of year? Are you into mulled wine? Egg nog? Good ol' Hot Chocolate? I wish I had a fun recipe to share... I'll try to find one, but I do love some seasonal coffees at Starbucks, like the gingerbread latte and caramel brulee latte. I usually try to have mulled wine at a party. And who doesn't love some hot chocolate when you get the chance!
