My Facebook Just Got Suspended!
At 8:53 this morning, Facebook decided I might be a robot. I was doing what I always do: hanging out in a few Junk Removal groups I’d just joined, replying to posts, sharing what’s working for my clients, dropping some “how-to” videos, and generally nerding out on marketing and systems. Everything was normal…until it wasn’t. Suddenly, the screen flips to a big warning splash page: “Your account has been suspended.” “Are you a real human?” What to do? Facebook wanted a selfie video to prove I exist, with a nice little note saying the review could take up to 48 hours. So now my personal profile and my automations that help post content for clients are effectively frozen while the algorithm decides whether I’m a person or a bot. About 30 minutes later, the verdict comes in: account restored, all good, “you can use Facebook again.” Life is good, the machine overlords have deemed me human. But there’s a lesson in all this: Rapid posting looks a lot like bot behavior. Dropping multiple posts, comments, and shares in a short window, especially across groups, can trigger an automated review. Even legit automation (like the systems I use for clients) needs to be throttled and staggered so it feels human, not spammy. So going forward, I’m spacing out my automations and not firing 6 pieces of content across 3 profiles at the exact same second. Same volume, smarter timing. If you’re building in public, using schedulers, or posting for multiple brands, learn from my mini heart attack this morning: Facebook loves consistent activity, but not suspiciously consistent.

Wow that's a story that resonates with me because I lost Facebook account and I had 5000 friends. I never got it back. It was more about my account getting hacked and used and Facebook has no or had no resources for me to call follow up I said put reports in and it was ridiculous eventually ended up giving up
Y'all gotta try this
I was onboarding a client and noticed something weird. Most agencies set up automations after a lead books. I flipped it and built this before the call. Here’s exactly what I did 👇 The “Pre-Call Authority Automation” When a lead books a call: They instantly get a short SMS: “Quick heads up before our call, I’ll review your online presence and pull 1 thing that’s costing you leads.” 6–12 hours later, they get an email with: • a Loom (2–3 minutes max) • NOT a full audit • Just ONE issue, clearly explained • No pitch Example: “I noticed your Google listing isn’t showing for [service] even though people are searching it weekly. I’ll explain why on the call.” 1 hour before the call, another SMS: “Looking forward to the call. I’ll show you exactly how to fix what I mentioned earlier.” What changed immediately: • Show-up rate went way up • Calls stopped feeling ‘cold’ • Prospects started the call already trusting me • Objections dropped because I had already proven competence The wild part? I didn’t sell harder. I just pre-sold credibility. This isn’t a follow-up trick. It’s a perception shift before the call even happens. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this setup, but once you use it, you can’t go back. Curious: Do you currently do anything before the call… or does the trust-building only start once you’re already on Zoom?

I like the psychology and the SMS trigger. It's like hypnosis. In NLP they say changing someone's STATE puts them in a trance. ie from "sad" to "happy" In Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), "state change" refers to the intentional shift from one emotional, mental, or physiological condition (the present state) to a more resourceful one (the desired state) by altering your body (physiology), focus (internal representations), and language, often using techniques like anchoring (linking a feeling to a trigger) or the Tunnel Technique (walking through an emotion) to move from unwanted feelings like anxiety to desired ones like calm or confidence.
We Are Moving to Spotify
The channel on YouTube is growing (1600+ Subs), I've been told we need to cross pollinate to Spotify and Apple to spread the word. Apparently 70% of the podcast listeners are on those platforms. Here is my Day 1 VLOG of attempting to start a Spotify podcast. Follow along and start one yourself with me...

My friend Tom is a savant in cross pollinating. One of his secrets is RSS. He is an expert in this and we can do a 3 way one day soon if you want. it's way over my head. Good job on the 1600 subs though. amazing. BTW Tom told me the reports are not accurate on Apple.

Termly
A great way to do your terms and conditions page. Asks like 60 questions and updates the terms and conditions pages. And depending on plan, you can get it automatically updated when new laws require it. https://termly.io/

@Sonic K your right, we live in a terms and conditions society. AI can probably scan the terms and conditions and look for vulnerabilities too
I am scaling back my anxiety
Sonic hit me with a business epiphany today. I realized I’m out here stressing myself bald trying to PUSH GoHighLevel… when all I really need to do is USE the darn thing. Yeah, yeah, I can list a thousand GHL benefits like an over-caffeinated salesperson, but honestly?Just give me: - A CRM that doesn’t yell at me - A funnel builder that doesn’t make me cry - My voice AI agent with A2P texting superpowers - And my email at 40yearhelp.com Boom. My wife and I already have 2,000 contacts. DONE. No stress. No anxiety. GHL pats me on the head and sends me on my way. GHL saves my day. Love. ❤️

Your explanation was like a Tom Clancy novel. I can’t do it but it was fascinating observing this story. On a simple note I was having problem making calls because 2 of my sub accounts were using the same number
