Best Way to Test a New App Before Launch?
Hey everyone! Sorry it has been a while since I have been active in here. Life has been absolutely crazy lately but I am back and I have a question for you all. I am working on a new app and I am trying to figure out the best way to test it before a full launch. What methods or tools have you all been using? Beta testers, feedback forms, soft launches? Would love to hear what has actually worked for you. Drop your thoughts below!

So I have been quietly building something behind the scenes and I am in the finishing stages now. I do not want to give too much away just yet but here is the concept. You know how hard it is to actually show people what you do? You post on social media, it gets buried in 24 hours, and nobody ever sees your best work again. That ends here. What I am building is a dedicated portfolio platform where every single project lives as a before and after reveal. Your audience drags a slider and sees exactly what you did. The starting point on one side. The finished result on the other. Your work front and center, forever, not buried in a feed. Web designer? Show the site before and after. Hair stylist? Show the transformation. Personal trainer? Show the journey. Home renovator? Show the room. Photographer? Show the edit. It works for literally any craft or skill. This is not a social media feed. This is your portfolio. A permanent home for your work where people can find you, follow you, react to your projects, and see everything you have ever created all in one place.

@Sonic K that sounds like an awesome idea.
Trying different assets
I’ve been experimenting with Meshy AI to create 3D assets for websites, livestreams, and even 3D printing. It’s a powerful and intuitive platform that allows users to generate detailed 3D models using AI. Meshy provides 100 free credits to explore and test the tool, though a paid plan is required to download your own generated models. In addition, the platform offers a large library of free community-created assets, which makes it easy to experiment and build projects without a significant upfront cost. https://www.meshy.ai/?utm_source=meshy&utm_medium=referral-program&utm_content=MBRID8&share_type=invite-friends
I didn’t give up.
This is a working version of a Base44 app that I’ll be using for a friend’s outfitter in South Carolina. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s moving in the right direction. The plan is to integrate Go High Level to handle automations, lead capture, follow-ups, booking workflows, and client communication. I may also layer in Make automations to expand what the system can do behind the scenes. I’m building this as a live template to show other outfitters what’s possible. Instead of just talking about it, I want something real and functional that demonstrates the value. Here’s the current version:https://collinslowcountry.base44.app More updates coming as I continue refining it.

Honest Discussion
I wanted to share something honestly. I haven’t made any money with HighLevel in months, and I’m starting to question whether I’m doing something wrong. I’ve been putting in the effort, learning the platform, and trying different approaches, but the results just haven’t been there. I’m also wondering if the market is simply too saturated. There seem to be a lot of people offering the same types of services, which makes it difficult to stand out, especially without a large budget or established reputation. It’s hard to tell whether the issue is my strategy, positioning, consistency, or just heavy competition in the space. At this point, I’m evaluating whether I should pivot and try something else soon. I don’t want to give up too quickly, but I also need to be realistic about what’s working and what isn’t. I’m open to feedback on what I could improve or adjust before making a final decision.

I help small hunting and fishing outfitters increase booked trips by installing automated follow-up and lead systems that convert more inquiries into paid clients within 30 days. I’m focused specifically on small outdoor outfitters and locally owned outdoor shops. I’m building a repeatable system tailored to that niche instead of trying to serve every type of small business. I have had 5 real honest calls that don't want to spend 1000 for there website and 100 every month. I have had 2 that wanted me to work on their team but not my high level and make money else where. I have had a bunch of no shows and still haven't responded and blocked my emails. I am running my podcast with marketing, i run fb ads, i am currently at a show handing out flyers in Harrisburg Pa! The most common answer i get back is that its to expensive! is there an alternative builder cheaper then i can put automations in it after?
Video Editors, not the software, but the service
Does anyone know any good video editors and how much they charge? I'm needing to get a quote for a potential client in case he wants to have videos edited for his coaching service or potential youtube channel. Thanks.
