Welcome! Introduce yourself + How to use the community 🌿
Hi! Let’s get to know each other. Share where you’re joining from, what brings you here, and a glimpse (or photo) of your favorite place to meditate. We’d love to meet you! HOW TO USE THIS COMMUNITY 📌 What this community is for & Who we are: Self-connection, together! We are a community exploring meditation, visualization, and inner work. Blending science, spirituality, and lived experience. We are here for conversations and connection on like minded topics, a space to support each other and share resources. 📌 To comment, click the community tab. When posting, just choose one of the categories: - Growth: Share your wins and ask for support (all questions welcome). - Fun: Share your silly side: stories, memes, pets, and other funnies! - Quotes & Insights: Something move you? You can access the 'Core Guided Meditation Collection' and the 30 day 'Cultivate A Daily Meditation Practice' course. More resources will unlock as members like your comments, so please connect, comment, and remember to like other people's comments to help them to unlock. 📌To see upcoming live calls and events: In the calendar tab you can see all of the scheduled events, you will also see the next event highlighted at the top of the home page and you will get an email the day before. Remember to add these to your diary. We want you to join in on theses calls! They are opportunities to speak face to face with each other and go deeper on our practice. Currently we have the following events: - Intuitive Guidance: a live deep healing meditation session - Coffee (or Tea!) catch up: a way to casually connect and chat - Co-working: A space to get some stuff done - Podcasts: Interviewing group members to get to know each other (dm me if you want to be interviewed!)

@Henrik Holmer it’s great to have you here :-) I’ve been into lucid dreaming for quite some time, and I’ve noticed a massive correlation between mindfulness and lucidity. I initially got into lucid dreaming as a form of wish fulfilment, but now I’m very curious about the exploration of the inner space. There’s a lot to be discovered there. I’m starting up a podcast to highlight group members practices and ideas other things, if you’re interested I’d love to have you on, we can talk Lucid dreaming other things. Congratulations on writing the book, And yes, enjoy the course and the other things we’ve got on here :-)

@Henrik Holmer I so glad you are enjoying it :) After Christmas season, I’ll start up the interviews again, and we can chat for sure. All avenues of self discovery are worth exploring!
December Self-Care Challenge - Staying Sane This Festive Season!
If you are like me, December can be pretty overwhelming with all the commitments and catchups on top of regular life. I love it, but if I don't take the time to rest and recover, I burn out. So rather than go through that cycle again, I've decided to preemptively implement some self-care and I am inviting you to do the same (making it a challenge to keep us all accountable to one another... and more importantly ourselves)! HOW TO JOIN THE DECEMBER SELF-CARE CHALLANGE: Pick one small act of self-care you can do every day to stay grounded and regulated. Something that feels nourishing, simple, and doable. eg: - Music - Reading - Take a bath - Meditation - Nature walk - Exercise - Cup of tea - Journaling Or choose something you’ll cut back on this month to ease the pressure. When you’ve chosen your practice, comment below and let us know what you’re committing to and why! I will keep this post pinned until new year!

@Ebru Vatanseven I have heard of that book, I will add it to the list :-) I am reading internal Family systems workbook as we speak. I love finding a theory or a process, and then a workbook to just add extra benefits.

@Lana Burns woooooooo keep it up!
Hi, It’s Bianca 🤗
Nice to meet you all. I am Bianca, from NYC but have been somewhat Nomadic the past year. I recently left my “old” life behind for one that is more aligned with my souls desires. I went from NYC fashion corporate part girl to kundalini breath-work coach traveling the world, learning more about wellness, breath work, yoga and spirituality. When I am alone, I love to meditate in the morning, it doesnt matter where as long as I am warm. lol But I love meditating most with a community, whether online or in-person.

Hi Bianca, welcome to the group :) I love the idea of following your soul’s desire. What was the turning point (or points!) that helped you make the shift? I think this group will be a good fit!
Mid December Self-Care Check In
Halfway through the December self-care challenge, just want to check in and ask how everyone is going, if anyone needs support, what challenges you are facing, and what you can do to help yourself. Silence has been good. I feel a lot better in general. Although there are some cravings that I’m noticing. In related news, I would like to introduce my new dog Gracie, who, in her first day today exploring our yard, managed to get herself stuck behind the shed. She is in desperate need of some December self-care care 🤣 @Maria Phillips had to get in there and help her back up. They are fully bonded now, ha ha.

Super special thank you to @Danakeli Perrry for being the first community member to join the podcast! Danakeli is an embodiment coach, who helps women move through anxiety and overwhelm back to self trust, sensuality and confidence. We spoke on reshaping identity, the role of society in shaping us, the shame of standing out, women's empowerment, the connection between spirituality and sensuality, the divine feminine and masculine architypes, healing the 'witch wound, and so much more. I loved this conversation and I think you will too. You can reach @Danakeli Perrry here in the community, and also on facebook, instagram, & website. 📌Want to be interviewed? Shoot me a DM and we will arrange a time. 📌How to listen to the podcast: - You can attend live recordings as they happen via the 'calendar' tab. - You can watch all recordings via the 'classroom tab' - Listen on your favorite app by searching for 'The Art Of Self Connection Podcast' (coming soon!
