715am cst and I completed the entire 5 day challenge
I did it I said I was gonna do it and I proved to myself with outrageous determination that I'll be done before the day 6 event. Which is in 2hr and 45min from now. I kept procrastinating with purpose (I call it) meaning I did everything else but what I wanted to do. It's like out of spite I feel sometimes my mind is like nope your not gonna do what you want today. But I did it. Begining Day 2 all the way to the end getting my report. I even had to put my phone on do not disturb for past 12hrs completely confused my dog why we aren't in bed. But I feel a huge accomplishment lime I haven't put this much effort into something so meaningful in a long time. I haven't finished reading my report though. I read first paragraph and decided it's too much emotion right now I think I'm over tierd and need a nap. So that is what I'm gonna do so I can be with everyone in person. See y'all in 2.5 hours
I didnt complete operating manual before my full report does it make a difference
Just did the first part of my Operating Manual and realized every app and course I ever bought started at the action level while the belief underneath never changed. That's why I always tap out. Also caught the phone by my bed for what it really is: a trap that wins before I'm even awake enough to fight it. I want to do more looking into the operating manual questions. Are they available still after today? I just finished the entire 5day challenge in 12 hours because I was determined to prove myself wrong that I can complete something. I did it. Read the first paragraph of my report and had to stop. Hitting hard already or I'm over tires and emotional. I hope all this work stays so I can come back and read it again.
Nearly there and then, who knows 😍
Just winding down my evening as bedtime is calling. Really want to be up at 4.00 am for the bonus event, well, what I mean is that I WILL be up, at 3.30, in fact so there's time to get coffee, prise my eyelids apart, etc 🙂 I've had a tremendous time doing this course, and oh my goodness, I already have major shifts happening, understanding the woman I was supposed to be for the last 65 years 😍 I'm so excited for this event, but I've just realised that having decided I'm going to bed, there's this little dance I do...often I think...before I can actually get there. It goes like this: Ok, I'm going to bed now, so I'll just...feed the cats/unload the dish washer/reload the dishwasher/go passed the laundry...oops, better back up, there's washing to put on/oops, stuff in the dryer needs folding/go to the bathroom/clean teeth/what's that pile of clothes there? /sort daughter's dirty clothes out/replace the cardboard roll!!!!!/head to bedroom/how cute, the cats on my bed/play with cat/go to get a glass of water/oh, who spilt that?get cleanup gear and clean it up/sit down and wondering what I was actually planning to do in the first place/ Got it!!! I was going to bed 😴 Goodnight folks and let me know if you recognise this dance 👯🕺😂 Is this just a girl thing or do boys do it too? 💛🫶😊

Haha absolutly I call it procrastination with purpose. Get everything else done to avoid the thing I was actually supposed to do. Bedtime is the worst cause my ADHD mind squirrels around. I set my alarm for 9pm wind down for bed. I get one thing on my mind start it and remember something else start that and forget the original thing then remember right before bed ... Start the circle all over again and hardly make it to bed on time. Alarms work if I follow them 🤦
FEEL BEHIND? THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Quick truth: there is no "behind" in this challenge. That's a story your brain made up the moment you missed a session. And I get it. We are world class at turning one missed day into a full identity crisis. "I always do this." "I never finish anything." "Why did I even sign up." Breathe. The challenge is not a train you missed. It's a room. And the room is open until Tuesday. Five sessions of 30 minutes. You don't need five days for that. You need one weekend and a brain like ours. We don't do "a little bit every day". We do all of it, at once, when it finally matters. Let it matter. Almost everyone misses a day. The people with the big transformations? They missed days too. Felt the shame. Came back anyway. That's the rep that rewires you. Every time you quit something before, you taught your nervous system "we don't finish things." This weekend you teach it the opposite. One honest thing: I don't yet know when I run this again. If I do, it won't be this group, this week, and it might not be fully free again... So here's the whole task. Open the classroom. Press play on the next session. Answer the three questions. Repeat until your report shows up. ▶️ https://www.skool.com/adhd/classroom That report is the deepest thing you'll read about yourself this year. Don't leave it sitting there. And Tuesday is for everyone. Five days done, two days, zero days. Reinvent Your ADHD Life is where I put the whole week into one picture, announce the $2,000 in prizes live, and give everyone in the room lots of value for FREE. If life happened and you did nothing, be there anyway. That's the one thing I'm asking. 📅 Tuesday 8 September, 18:00 CEST 👉 https://www.skool.com/adhd/calendar?eid=98e07cd8498742339830a0a2cd715ed0 You're not behind. You're exactly where the comeback starts. And if you're on track: Day 5 is the one where you get your report. Live at 18:00 CEST · 17:00 UK · 12:00pm ET · 9:00am PT · 02:00 Sat AEST. Can't make it? The replay is up right after.

So far behind but catching up in the evenings. Finishing 3 4 5 on Sunday ... Leave everything to last minute and cram before deadline. Typical me and apparently typical ADHD

I worked all night and morning I'll be done on time for class at 10am CST
Sept 8 5am finished day 4 challenge
Got thru day 4 challenge oddly learnt that a current situation I'm fighting with is actually a body memory in action from my past. 2 totally different scenarios but same out come me speaking and being unheard or not believed caused me a major hardship that could have been prevented if only someone listened to me ask for help in the first place. As for the protocols I am living the exact layout Jim said at the begining about unhealthy habits waking up a chaos morning. Apparently what I thought was procrastination was actually over planning in bed like a marathon before I touch ground. Making me burn out by noon. 8 dimensions of well being. My top 2 were occupation and emotion. Bottom 2 were financial and physical. I have some major injuries waiting for surgery on disability that puts me under poverty line so I have to find work that is minimal 2 days of driving is all I can physically do. So AI Jim explained these are not my fault and there is nothing wrong with me cause the top 2 are ones that I completely have control over and they are doing great. So that's a relief I found something I'm doing right. Now to work on sleep and morning routine. But thats after today cause I gotta finish day 5 and have a nap so I can watch day 6 with y'all. See you soon
