Can you believe it? 2025 is coming to a close, and this is our last PERSONALS meet up of the year! Once a month, I like to offer members an opportunity to share with the group what their community is about, what their expertise are that led them to create the community, and who it's for. This is like your calling card for your business. I record the meeting (someone PLEASE remind me to record!!!) and then share it with the larger group in a post in the community so that others can learn a bit more about you in a more personalized way. At the end of the meeting, we turn the recording off and open it up for general discussion. We kind of ended up doing this last time just as a result of the number of people we had in attendance, but we didn't record it, so I wanted to do it again so that we could post it for everyone to see. In the new year, we will have more discussion time for you to get to know each other and learn from each other more personally. I can't wait to celebrate the end of an awesome year with you! I’ve been asked why I limit the posting in this group to once a day, and the answer is for the same reason that I limit how much I personally post in this group each day (I try really hard to limit myself to 2!)…. It’s to protect your visibility. The goal of this group is to help you become as visible as possible. If people are able to post as often as they want, one person could easily clog the feed with their own posts and push everyone else down to lower pages. By limiting everyone to one post a day, everyone gets time on the first page, the quality of the posts goes up, and the overall feel is more conversational and less spammy. Thoughts???
