Non Fiction book sizes
Before I start formatting my book, what is a common/most popular size for a non fiction book? The book is 14 chapters long and will have a number of images in it. The subject matter is creating sacred spaces for meditation and relaxation from a mental health perspective.

@Jeff Mildon That is a good size. Mine will have garden designs and images inside, so I wanted it a fraction bigger.

@Stacey Herndon There are so many different sizes. I noticed there are US and UK sizes that are different from each other.
What stage is your nonfiction book in right now?

I transferred mine from Scrivener to Atticus for formatting. My challenge is getting the contents page to flow the way I want it. Just isn't happening. Three whole days and I'm about ready to give up 😒

Hi, I live in Australia. My background is in horticulture, landscape design, counselling and suicidology. I'm in the process of formatting a book I wrote back in 2019 (time I got it out there). I wrote the book using Scrivener which I love for bookwriting, only it doesn't allow images to be placed where I want them. I have moved over to using Atticus for formatting, a hair pulling task. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community and learning what I can while here.

I'm semi-retired, currently writing books and working on genealogy. I'm intuitive and creative and looking forward to creating a deck for my website.
