TAKING ACTION: āœ… Do you have a hard time recognizing when you’re about 80% full? If so, do any of the tips in the article below help? āœ…Focus on your Three W’s today—water, workouts, and whole foods. When all else goes awry, these simple strategies work! Also, today is our first PULL Day advanced workout. This week, we’re talking about our capacity to tackle our nutrition and fitness challenges during the holiday season. The goal is to reach your full potential—to reach your maximum capacity so that you can honor the holiday season while still progressing. There’s one caveat when it comes to reaching or expanding your capacity, however—it doesn’t apply when you’re eating. (Sorry, guys.) šŸ˜‰ There is a lot of research that supports eating until you’re 80% full. One reason is that it takes your brain 20-30 minutes to catch up with your stomach. That means your stomach can be full 20-30 minutes before your brain recognizes it, so by that point, you’ve likely surpassed your capacity. A question that’s often asked is, ā€œBut how do I know when I’m 80% full?ā€ Well, friends, I’m glad you asked. Check out the article below to learn how to recognize when you’ve reached approximately 80% capacity. This article also explains more about why 80% is the sweet spot when you’re trying to reach fat loss goals! ā¬‡ļø How to Eat To 80% Full (And Why It’s a Key Practice for Weight Loss)

SUGAR DETOX CHALLENGE!!!!
You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will." ~Stephen King TAKING ACTION: āœ… Eliminate all forms of processed sugar starting today! Comment READY if you’re excited to get going! The time has come, friends—it’s Day One of our annual Sugar Detox Challenge! As I mentioned yesterday, you’re ready. You’re prepared. You’re educated. Now all you have to do is take action! šŸ’„ Speaking of taking action, you probably noticed I started this post by listing our TAKING ACTION items first. Friends, this is an intentional change because here’s the deal—knowledge is power, but action is powerful! You have to take action, and if you do nothing else each day, I challenge you to complete the daily action items—because they’re what will move you forward. šŸ’Æ For the next 10 days, we’re going to eliminate all forms of processed sugar and give our bodies the detox it deserves! As you’ve learned, it’s important to check nutrition labels for sugar and hidden sugars. I provided a list for you last week for reference. šŸ‘ Remember, it’s okay to consume fruit and natural sweeteners like Stevia and monk fruit. Hopefully, you’ve slowly been cutting back the last couple of weeks, which will mitigate some of the side effects we discussed earlier. Just remember—it’s temporary, and you’re going to feel amazing in a few days! šŸ™Œ Let me know if you have any questions! Let’s DO THIS! šŸ‘Š

To eat the candy or notā€¦šŸ¤”
That’s the million-dollar question—not only when it comes to candy, but to any food you find delicious and highly palatable. It’s important to first understand your unique cravings, body, and thoughts. What works for me may not work for you—and that’s okay! For example, some people do better by allowing themselves to enjoy some of their favorite foods because complete restriction does more harm than good. On the other hand, complete restriction from certain foods may be the best option for some due to the fact that they can’t stop eating said food once they start. The question you need to ask yourself is, ā€œWhere do I fall regarding this?ā€ If you feel as though you need complete restriction around a certain food, don’t let that get you down. The reality is that while it feels tough to swallow right now, your taste buds and your brain will change. šŸ’Æ Ultimately, the answer to the question above is unique to you and your ability to control your sugar intake. P.S. If you struggle with this, you aren’t broken. There is nothing wrong with you. Sugar is a highly addictive substance. Fortunately, we’re going to take some time this month to learn the best strategies for overcoming those pesky cravings—and as you already know, slow elimination over time is a great strategy we’re working on! 🫶 Take a moment to see what’s coming up in our group this week. ā¬‡ļø - Steven Speers on EMFs tonight at 7pm CDT / 8pm EST! I will send zoom link via fb messenger. TAKING ACTION: āœ… Do you have foods you can’t stop eating once you begin? Is sugar one of them? Share a little today, friends, and get ready for a great week of sugar education!

Friday WINS! šŸŽ‰
Let me hear your WEEKLY WINS today! šŸŽ‰ If you know me well enough, you already know what I’m going to say… Your weekly win doesn’t have to be big for it to be worthy of celebrating. šŸ’Æ In fact, I’d rather your wins be small because small wins are attainable wins. Here are some examples of small wins that are worthy of celebrating: šŸ‘‰ You cleared your pantry of processed sweets, šŸ‘‰ You bought fruits and vegetables with natural sugars at the grocery store this week. šŸ‘‰ You showed up here every single day to learn and digest the material. šŸ‘‰ You skipped the birthday cake at a work party. šŸ‘‰ You chose to eat dessert with natural sugars instead of processed ones. Friends, there are MANY more examples I could’ve listed, but the point is that you realize that every small win counts towards your goals. Even better, every small win that is celebrated counts towards the mindset changes you’re trying to make. Every small step counts. Every small win counts. šŸ’Æ TAKING ACTION: āœ… Share your weekly win below, friends! Don’t forget to encourage the person who comments above you today! šŸŽ‰
