Top hedge funds 1H 2025 return
For my upcoming hedge fund, the target is 20% return net of all fees. So far, my early investors into my business is getting 10.2% distribution as of 1H 2025. How does that compare with the top hedge funds in the world? My role models are: Jim Simons Renaissance - 11.2% (Better than my 10.2% by 1%) Two sigma Absolute Return - 11% (Better than my 10.2% by 0.8%) Citdael - Not even on this list (I am better in terms of 10.2% distributions made) Two Sigma Spectrum - 7.6% (I am better in terms of 10.2% distribution made) Note: I checked Citadel again, and their Wellington fund returned 2.5% during 1H2025 (Source) so my distribution of 10.2% is better. Historically, Q3 is a slower quarter but we should still hit our monthly 1.7% target consistently. The most profitable quarter is usually Q4. As I continue to refine my investment models, I expect the return distribution to be more consistent in 2H 2025. The most interesting thing is that Jim Simons and Two Sigma are hitting around the 20% target like clockwork. While these hedge funds don't provide distributions, my goal is to provide such distributions consistently and predictably.
