Dylan Jardon and Henry Belcaster have been best friends for ages. They started a podcast together, but were frustrated with how slow their growth was. Dylan decided to take a break, spend some time in isolation, and refused to come out until he had figured out the art and science of going viral. Whilst he was alone, he came up with a viral formula, and when he put it to the test, it worked! He was pretty stoked, but it could've been luck... Right? Dylan taught what he understood to Henry, and Henry started blowing up too! After hearing about this story I paid them both $20k, and they taught me everything they know about going viral. And I thought I'd share my biggest takeaways with you for free :) LESSON 1: THE VIRAL FORMULA According to "the lads", the formula for going viral is: Story X Pop Culture X Animation = Viral Blend pop culture (something that everyone knows) with a great story (something that's already viral) with high quality animation to make timeless content. But does every short need ‘Pop Culture’ in it? According to the lads, yes. They view pop culture as the jet fuel for the concepts you’d want to teach. We’re playing a different game with Shorts. People are scrolling and have no idea who you are. Hook the viewer instantly by giving them something they care about. LESSON 2: EVERGREEN > TIMELY But not all pop culture is created equal. There’s a difference between creating Timely Shorts and Evergreen Shorts. Many Shorts people make Timely content e.g. Alex Hormozi when FTX crashed: https://www.tiktok.com/@ahormozi/video/7165572368637922606 But Timely content like the news won’t be relevant in 1 month. Evergreen > trending for a few reasons: - The long tail of shorts is important. Most videos that pop take a few weeks to get going.  - Anything we create should be as relevant in 2 years as it was in the first 2 days post upload

#Specific Knowledge, Leverage and Accountability I went ahead and used Yan Francis' "L + S + A" post as a reference point! "To get wealthy, you need A + B + C" A) Leverage/Scale Yes, leverage your content (potentially on upcoming platforms, as well as YouTube) and potentially even learn to code if that calls to you, but leverage your CREDIT as well! "BandmanKevo" on youtube talks about this in depth. This is also known as using OPM (Other People's Money), and leveraging debt/capital (Primaries/Tradelines). B) Specific Knowledge Emphasis on "something that cannot be easily learned." AND "Find your unique niche." It can be a hybrid of interests and passions. An example would be going through a 2-4 week, in-person course, learning to facilitate a Sacred Medicine (Like Ayahuasca or Bufo)...then creating content around what you've learned. Where do they teach you this? Point proven. C) Accountability Putting your name on your content does hold you accountable. Who else is being held accountable? Why are you holding yourself accountable? How, where, and for what? Do I have a system set in place for things to flow smoothly and effectively? Or am I relying on something else? I’m passionate about helping others to remove any and all blockages to the constant stream of Love that IS possible for every human being to feel on a constant basis. I believe we exist (on the deepest level) as the ‘Love’ frequency, & can never actually be separate from Source/God. I enjoy redefining definitions and beliefs so that they serve all of us as a collective. Essentially unlearning everything we thought we knew. Healing the collective shadow of ‘I am a separate, victimized being. I’m guilty, you’re guilty,’ may very well be paramount to ending suffering once and for all. I enjoy incorporating tools such as: Sacred Medicine (I carry medicine) Self-Inquiry A Course in Miracles Meditation etc. All tools lead back to the same shed, all paths lead back to the same starting point, none of which are ‘wrong or right’.
