The idea of being attainable vs unattainable
I don't now whether you're on the Yung Blud side of TikTok or not... but my single 40 year old nerdy self feels like she's in a naughty romance novel every time one of his videos show up. Anyway... I do have a point. Other than DAMN! My younger emo self... oh ok yeh I'm off track again. So he's come out flying with MEGA marketing campaigns for his latest album and tour. And they've been so strong. Like all the Mums like me are drooling. BUT he's also got long term fans and all kinds of fans, and it's scaling FAST. The thing that I've seen him do strategically (and likely just leaning into who he is) is to consistently gives people time and is kind to them. He's got people falling at him left right and centre. And he connects with them! Gives them a kiss. Winks at them. Hugs crying fans and has authentic convos with them. He doesn't act like some rockstars would which is to ignore and hide from paparazzi and fans because it's too much. He includes them in his world with authenticity that's so clear. They are a part of his social proof and his world. They are why he is where he is. They are represented in his brand. Not just as testimonials but a real part of it. He displays this perfect balance of bad boy with kind boy which feels so balanced for people of all kinds, drawing them in. His content is so heavily focused on a balance of bad boy and good boy which is very intentional for his image and building his fan base even more. There’s definitely a take from Taylor Swift in creating lore and the fans first angle which is proven to work. Jumping around a bit but back in my old business, it was normal for coaches I worked with whether it be in masterminds or courses or anything, to intentionally limit how much you give to people. To ensure everything is behind a paywall. To clear your calendar. To ‘not wake up for less than $10k’. Being low energy, that made so much sense to me because I needed it. But I also followed it because it seemed to be the given thing in those industries and who I admired.
