SO obsessed with Big Brother's strategies at the moment
I used to watch BB back in the 00's, and over the years it's changed into something really clinical and planned like a typical reality tv show. Whereas back in the say it was rough, raw, they'd do uplate with hotdogs, they had real people etc.
I've been watching their TikToks and seeing what they're doing and I LOVE IT!!!!
They're leaning heavily into going back to their roots.
They've turned FILM camera footage into digital and are re-streaming their show from 20 years ago!!!
They are going back to the old structure/format
They are getting (it seems) real random people instead of influencers again. And getting anyone to submit their applications to be on it.
Something interesting I saw them do was actually ADD everyone's (well a lot of them) application videos to their YouTube channel (way to get subscribers, and views etc) and people are voting on which applications they like based on likes.
I have no idea what they'll do with this yet but I'm actively following.
They're coming out with all kinds of surprises.
I feel this campaign is worth following because they've clearly got some fresh and innovative minds onto the project this season and are doing properly unique ways of looking at marketing this program again.
It's building genuine anticipation and excitement!
Worth taking notes from!
