Yep, title sums up the last few years of my life.
Myth: If your course is packed with content, it’s automatically “high-value.”
MYTH: More content = more value. REALITY: More content often creates more confusion. I see course creators panic and respond the same way: They add another module, another bonus, another “just in case” lesson. It feels generous, but it also quietly breaks the learning experience. Here’s what actually happens when you overload a course: - Students can’t tell what matters most, so they do nothing first. - The “path” disappears, and the course becomes a content library. - Momentum drops because progress stops feeling measurable. - You get lower completion, fewer wins, and softer testimonials. Value isn’t measured in minutes of video.Value is measured in capability: what your student can confidently do after. @Shannon Boyer To be honest, I've probably finished 2 courses in my life. I basically hate them, and only join communities for the people in it, not dead recorded stuff that quickly gets out of date. It's boring and lonely.

Would This Be of Value to You???
The very first day I had the idea for this community, I thought that I would make it possible for people to purchase a pinned post. Then, I started running the community and became a pin hog and felt like I couldn't give up the premium real estate. I wanted everyone who was new to see the Start Here post, and I wanted everyone in the community to see important notifications and hashtag days. But more and more people have been asking for the ability to get their posts pinned to the top for a certain length of time. I also want to keep some of the pinned posts because I think they are important for setting the tone of the community and keeping you apprised of important information, but if I could open up one pinned post spot, what would it be worth to you to have that spot for 48 hours (if anything)? Just to be clear - you would write the post and I would pin it. It would not be coming directly from me.
