What do you need help with?
I truly believe we are building an awesome community here!!! One where we support each other, pray for one another, and still keep healthy boundaries that allow every one of us to grow in mind, body, and spirit 🌱🧠💪🏾✨ You don’t have to carry everything alone. There is power in being seen, supported, and covered in prayer 🤍🙌🏾 If you’re comfortable, leave a comment below and share one thing you’d like prayer for right now. It can be big or small. This is a safe space rooted in respect, encouragement, and growth 🫶🏾 Let’s lift each other up and walk this journey together 🤎✨🙏🏾

Change of Identity
I made it to the gym, though I was late this morning. Each promised that we keep to our ourselves changes our identity.

@Quinton Moss Way to go! I got my walk in early this morning but next week when I return to work I need to make sure I fit my workout (me time) in between shifts.

@Quinton Moss I start work at 640am. Then there is a break between 9:30 and 1:30. I get back in the road at 2:04pm. Private company transporting children😉 So, I workout when I get home the first time. I’m not a fan of the late evening workouts. So yeah. Gotta get it in.😊
HABITS vs GOALS (Habits are better)
As I plan for 2026, I realized something important: I have too many GOALS. Lower body fat. Get in better shape. Reach 195 lbs. Be more present. Have more energy. Be more punctual. Be more effective... and many more that I won't bore you with. All great GOALS… but way too broad. Too many. Too overwhelming. Too vague. After talking with my trainer, it clicked 🔑Instead of chasing 20 GOALS, I need 1–2 clear HABITS that naturally lead to many outcomes. HABIT #1 💪🏾 Do 20 minutes of cardio daily That’s a HABIT I can execute every day. If I stay consistent, several GOALS take care of themselves: weight loss, better conditioning, lower body fat, more confidence. HABIT #2 🕰️😴 Bedtime by 10:30 PM When I get 7–8 hours of sleep, everything improves:• Better brain activity 🧠• More energy 🔥• Better focus• Better mood• Better weight loss (less late-night ghrelin + leptin disruption), ability to get up with God in the morning That ONE HABIT supports multiple GOALS at once. So instead of drowning in GOALS, I narrowed things down to TWO DAILY HABITS that will likely help me reach 15+ GOALS over time. Next week, I’ll be sharing videos on:👉 why we suck at New Year’s resolutions👉 why 1–2 HABITS beat 20 GOALS every time Where do you want to be better in 2026?

One of my main goals this year is to show up more for myself. I’m always there supporting those around me but it’s time to pour out some intentional effort in my direction. My second goal is to spend more time in prayer.

@Felisa McEntyre We’ve got to do it. It’s not a crime.
Recalibration
I realized some things needed to be tightened up regarding my mind my body and my spirit. This cold virus slowed me down and made me less focused and when that happens I’ve learned to recalibrate my structure. Here is what that looks like: 1. Re anchoring my daily systems. I go back to the routines that keep me grounded starting with more intentional intimate time with God using my Power Sheets with scripture and dedicated prayer for myself my wife my kids Modern Psychiatry and Wellness and my home church. 2. Prioritizing recovery. Getting to bed earlier reducing sugar increasing hydration pushing back against the virus by supporting my body instead of draining it. 3. Clearing out toxic inputs. Less news less gossip less negativity less social media more clarity more peace. 4. Preparing to resume physical activity. Hopefully within the next two days I will be well enough to get back to exercising and rebuilding momentum. When I do these things my thoughts level out my focus returns my spirit strengthens and I become more engaged and fortified as a leader for my family my team and myself. Recalibration is so important. Going back to the basics allows us to simplify everything and to reassure our bodies and minds that we are going to be okay. Praying for a speedy recovery Dr. Moss. Great post!
