A practical framework for Consciousness Work
I'm running the Four Principles immersion again on May 23rd, and I want to tell you why I think it's worth your Saturday (also: many bonuses until sunday, see below) As much as I love Consciousness Work, my main problem with it is that it's often too broad. People tend to feel lost in all the material we offer. But since we also preach clarity and effectiveness, we've decided to build an actual framework, for actual practical results. So in a way, this workshop is "Consciousness Work but structured". Now, the word "framework" can mean many things. IMO there are good and bad ways to build a framework. The bad way is: - Pick a bunch of techniques that you like - Put them together at random - Move them around until it feels "good enough" - Sell a workshop about it The good way to build a framework is more like: - Build from the ground up, with as few assumptions as possible - Let the main distinctions emerge by themselves, until you discover the structure at play - Test it in your life. Iterate x1000 - Run a workshop about it, cause now you're excited to share it (and because it works) That's how the 4 Principles workshop was built. It's a structure you can act from. It functions as an actual guide when the situation is unclear, when you're triggered, when there's no time to figure it out. And before you ask: YES, the goal is still to aim for experiential insights :) The framing just makes it more powerful. This is 6 hours of live work with exercises, dialogue, real participation from you. Not a lecture about some theory or model. If you join before May 17th (the founding participants window), you also get the follow-up sequence I put together to keep working with the principles after the live day; plus Brendan's course and 2 months of private group coaching with him. Workshop is online, on May 23rd at 10:30 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. You can sign up here: https://chenghsin.link/workshop/4p See you there :)

Question on creating an offering/workshop
This question is mainly geared towards those that host their own workshops, and apprentices who have this skillset too. @Ethan Martin @Viktor Balogh @Brendan Lea @Corentin G @Rob van Ham @Elizabeth Saetia I have a variety of skillsets that I'd like to combine so I can serve others in a new and creative way. For example, I'm skilled in photography, active listening, and in nature adventures. I'd like to leverage these to create a powerful offering for others to get in touch with nature and with themselves. During the process of creating your workshops, what did you find was effective in helping others? Did you offer what has already helped you or combine many things? When do you know a workshop/offering is fully complete? Thank you!

Just made a post related to that topic of workshop/framework creation, hope this can help: https://www.skool.com/the-consciousness-path/a-practical-framework-for-consciousness-work As Viktor said, the main aspect is to make it real for you first. Basically, use the tool of contemplation on the workshop itself: Even if you already have knowledge about the topic (which will be the case if we talk about practical stuff like photography), still be in a state of discovery while crafting the workshop. You have to become the student of your own material. Be very self-critical, try to prove yourself wrong as much as you can. You want to have insights during the creation of the workshop itself. It means you're really digging. And when the workshop is "done", it's only the beginning. As you facilitate it, that's when real feedback starts: keep observing, trying stuff out, and refining it. Hope this helps
Send your Best Consciousness Pictures or Cartoons
It's that time again, Peter is building the big newsletter. If you have some good pictures or consciousness related cartoons or images please send me some. You can send them in a message here for consideration. Cheers!

Step-by-step plan for a good life: 1) Transcend life and death 2) Eat pizza (running joke we had with another student many years ago)
The subtle art of...
...not giving a f**k is the name of the book I got this quote from. It really changed my outlook on life, so I wanna share it with you today. "Pursuing a more positive experience in itself is a negative experience. And, as paradoxical as it sounds, accepting (embracing) the negative experience is a positive experience." It was called the law of reverse effort by Alan Watts. Thoughts?

Paradoxes of that kind are at the heart of that work, so yes, this quote applies here. Both the 4 Principles workshop and the Being Complete workshop (our main online trainings) contain notions about this idea :)
