@Nicholas Dheilly yessir so in our base alignment we’re head up on the tackles in a 4 tech. Our primary responsibility is B gap dive, unless the LB call a stunt or if we get a front call to go to the C gap. I’m going to experiment with a 4 point stance with my inside foot being back since we run a fixed front and I’m always on that right side of the ball.
How to long stick
What’s up coach I was wondering if u could help with the technique of long sticking

Long sticking is a stunt, typically as a DE/DT lined up in the C gap long sticking means slanting from the C to the A gap and ear hole the center. depends on the scheme and what defense yall run as well.

where do low hand punchers punch
i’ve heard that they punch to your belly but most so called low hand punchers i’ve seen are punching slightly under the lower chest, and because of that i have trouble telling away their punch type mid rep, could someone specify where do low hand punchers punch and how to tell away? thanks

Remember, lowest man wins. Low hand/high hand will become very obvious when you’re low and exploding out, I love low hand punchers because gives you a clear target to their bicep when attacking half a man. Also wrist control, if your hands are always coming out high (like they should be) you can react to the OL hands much quicker. I live by the rule if they never get the hands on me, they lose. Everytime.

Also there will never be a set spot or placement they punch just like us punching the sternum and bicep may never always be “perfect” it’s all about being violent, controlled chaos.
Double teams
In this rep I was about to attack 55 with my hips but he caught me while i had a feet in the air, where did i mess up? do i have to be more choppy with my steps or is it the timing?? thanks

You popped up a little here, use your leverage and the key man you’re attacking to “anchor” yourself and drop that knee towards the ground where the double team is coming from, force that guard or tackle to slide off your hip and go up to the backers. Rip through.
