An exclusive gift for you from Orchestral Tools!
Hey dear rockers! Orchestral Tools has an exclusive gift for you guys that I am pretty happy about! I have a list here with 15% OFF coupons. They are limited to 250 and everyone gets ONE discount. Here is what you have to do if you want one: - Write a comment in this post 👇 - I will then send you a DM with your code - Don't be greedy, only if you feel like you want to purchase something from their store - Please do not pass your code around, it can only be used once. I have to do this manually, so please have mercy and consider time zones when it's late 😅 PS: It would be very kind and respectful towards everyone if you introduced yourself or participated in the community before asking to get a discount as a first message, thanks! I am sure you understand! ♥️

Label/Sync advice
Can anyone with experience offer advice for the questions I have? Regarding using material I have already released using an aggregator (Distrokid) Firstly, does it matter that I already have released material with isrc codes? I've been hesitant to sign up to sync that are for artists, it seems to me a lot of these organizations that offer sync for your music are somewhat like car salesmen/snake oil pitches about your music. That has turned me off and I don't know who to trust. Should I cold email labels? how should I tackle this? who should I be contacting? before you comment I'll say the common negative advice here so you don't have to 😆: "its a flooded market!", "Its quantity over quality", "don't bother!!!", "You'll never get a placement as a newb!" Here's some of my music so you can get an idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFvCRkvaimA Hope you are all well and in good health!

@Mike Targanski thanks for your reply, apparently there are libraries that could sync already released music, I'm trying to find out how to go about it.

@Shawn van Staden Oh wow I thought Neural dsp was supposed to be better? I've never used it, but I have used helix native with IR and its really good, I end up using guitar rig out of lazyness more than anything haha, its convenient and quick to load, has loads of presets etc.. I find with helix there can be so many options I end up being overwhelmed.

@Tom Higgins Hey Tom! thank for the reply, I appreciate that you listened! Yes I was in a pinch writing music for Olotor Gailheart and the music for 'the letter' it was more of an after thought, I didn't think much about originality, but I tried to customise it as much as I could, but damn sonokinetic is a heck of a load of fun!!! 😆 I know exactly what you mean about the mentality side of a disability, I feel like its half the battle at times it is the main battle, and then not having people really understand what your disability is. I would find it much easier to cope with good support. non the less, I hope I can recognize you in this too, make music when you can, that's how I did my album and ep! just tiny bits a day, some days more, some days less. I suppose you know this already, but be kind to yourself friend, this is no easy thing to live with.
Post your music, projects or demo reels here! 👇
