Morning all, been a mad couple of weeks, signed up to the new Bigg Reset but done sweet fa so far, still hitting the gym but trying for more volume over lifting heavy, signed up to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks with work in August so going to try and focus on that over the summer, 25st me would never of dreamt of anything like that so thats an improvement!! don't want to be left up the hill!!! had some knee niggles so want to strengthen the legs some more and work on cardio (urgh) Not much more to say other than i'll try and be more present on here and promise to start the reset today (sorry @Jamie Bigg ) have a great weekend everyone x

@Shaun Vause hats off mate, you are doing great! Well done for taking that step forward and signing up. That journey so far from 25st to now is no joke, great inspiration for the rest of us too πŸ‘ŠπŸ˜Ž Just think where you were then to where are now, and then think if you can do that, imagine what can you do next πŸ’ͺ😎
Fitness Trackers
What is everybodies go to for tracking metrics? (never thought i'd say that phrase!) I currently use a whoop band but the subscription is coming to an end and i'm looking for a change, my wife uses a Huawei watch but she has started developing a rash so we have been looking at the rings, Any good ones out there? cheers all

I'm using a Corus Pace 2, though tbh I don't use it much, just to track steps, runs and walks. Sleep as well, but I don't dig too deep into it. The app tracking is free though

I 2nd Judds comments on the rash, I found out the hard way. Generally I wash the sensor and strap in the shower after every work out, seems to help. Also got some spare breathable material straps to switch between each day rather than just the silicone one, that made a difference as well
Feeling the why should I bother
So got up did my weekly weigh in scales stayed the same I think to myself why am I bothering with eating healthy and doing exercise then my dad asks are you going to the gym I said yeh dont know why im bothering tho im not losing any weight he said you can clearly see the improvement in you body so dont be silly. So I dragged my arse to the gym just done hour n hlf head still feeling like its a waste of time but im sure il will pass πŸ™ƒ

@Terri Streeter keep going, it will pass. I find it hard to see much change in myself when others do. Then I look back and compare Check-in photos from several months ago and then clearly see the difference. Unless you have a reason for the weekly weigh in, perhaps try weighing in every 4 weeks, and take some photos for you compare. It might help to move focus from what the scale says to what activities you are ticking off, how much weight you can lift compared to last month or how much energy you have through your cardio work? And as others have said, muscle will weigh more, so don't be discouraged.

@Terri Streeter great idea! Definitely worth doing every 4 weeks of you can. I got a tripod with Bluetooth remote for taking photos. Really handy and they aren't expensive on amazon
Work
Been a bit quiet on here lately as work has been kicking by arse big time. Being doing 6 day weeks of 10-12 hours for 3 weeks and stress has been hard to manage lately. Positives I have stuck to my food plan and hydrating well. Got 3 gyms sessions in each week (bought myself a record book so I can leave the phone in the locker so not tempted to scroll between sets) Hit over 10,000 steps for all but 2 days Now its the weekend and the sun is shining
