Time to recharge
Been a while since I posted on here. So over the last couple of months I have had lots going on personally in my home life and work has been mental. So yesterday and today I have taken urgent leave to take time out and recharge before I burn out or get charged with someone's murder at work. So for two mornings running, I have done 8,000 steps, 15 mins cardio (starting to realise how unfit I am) and a gym session all before 730. Yesterday I then went for a walk along the beach, done some reading and for me building lego is relaxing so built my insect collection piece. Already I feel so much better for it. I guess what I am trying to say is don't be afraid to put you first. Putting time in for you, isnt selfish, it's needed. So with that in mind, what are you doing this weekend that is just for you?

Nice one fella, so lucky to have the water so close by, this weekend i'm helping the Mrs with her new online business launch, so hopefully sat in the sun!!

Just be kind. You have no idea how much work it takes for some people to even walk out of the house, never mind in leggings, or even to walk through the door of a gym!

Achievement!
I’ve been on the recumbent bike for a few months now (I use it due to lower back problems stopping me from using the usual bike), using it as a warm up or part of a workout cycle, never really doing more than 800m at speed. However, I’ve been challenge myself to improve my endurance. So I worked at 2km, at a constant speed of about 13kmph. Beat my time a couple of times, so moved to 3km. Did that once and found it… ok ish lol. Today? I decided the go for 4km. Put the headphones on and shut my eyes, just to zone out. Opened my eyes to find myself at 4.2km so thought, might as well go for 5km! Still that constant speed. And I am knackered but so proud of myself!

The power of music!
Heavy metal and rock = Heavier weights! Invested in a pair of head phones last week as I was board of the gym music and my PBs have gone up loads this week at least 3 per session!

100% agree with this, my ear pod things are not the best to staying in during a workout, looking at over ears or those bone ones that clip on Of just gaffa mine
