Shoes for Training and Competition
Curious about others opinions on shoes for training and competition. I have a couple of youth athletes for summer track training in Nike Zoom Rival Waffle 6 and competing in Adidas Adizero Prime Sp3. They run the 100, 200 and 400. My hypothesis is that training in the waffles will help strengthen the feet. Open to get others opinions on footwear.

Stephen, I'll ask Chris this question today. We're recording an episode. Good question!

Just went through your week 2 outdoor. I really liked the breakdown. Good to know too just logistics for your team and why you may or may not throw things in
Focal Muscle Vibration
Chris, On your Kerr talks, TORSO pt.1, you mention about motors. I'm assuming these are what you are talking about: https://www.humanlocomotion.com/products/focal-vibration-motors/ I've used these with the prescribed workout for the Quads, Hamstrings, Peroneal, and Calves. I've found that if you are able to keep up with the 1x month maintenance protocol grumpy hamstrings and calves have disappeared in my kids. I'm wondering if you have experimented with any other muscle groups like oblique's, adductors, QLs, or glutes.

I'm certainly interested! I'll ask Chris about it today. And maybe Dan when we do another recording with Chris and Dan for Simplifaster.
what do you need from me
With track ending, what should I post? Workout of the week?

@Brody Benson I'll ask this tomorrow! I may turn your first question into a separate episode. It's a great question. Chris has an article series https://trackfootballconsortium.com/the-education-of-chris-korfist/ you may check out. But I may read through them all again (7 parts) and then try and turn that into a 1-2 part episode. That's a great idea!

@`Jacus Coetzee Haha let's go! Same here! Feel free to direct message me here on Skool or on X @coachchriskerr. I've learned from attending TFC's, if I have the question, someone else does too. So go ahead and ask. It helps me, it helps Korfist, it helps everyone! You da man!
Idea for a post
Chris, I appreciate getting to see the weekly workouts you’re creating. Would it be possible for you to do a video where you explain the why’s of how you assemble each day for a week or longer? With the amount of exercises you offer, it’s not always intuitive to me as what exactly each one is there for.
