Post QF Focus?
I’m curious about what everyone’s focus is post QF? Athletes: if you’re not moving on to semifinals - what is your plan for the “off season”? Will you compete this year in some in-person events? Dabble in Hyrox? ATHX? Xenom?! (The name 😂) Coaches: what are you preparing your athletes for? What is the primary training focus for your clients as you shift into the off season?

Back to strength base building, leg strength and overall strength capacity! I hope there will be more online competitions for people who can't do in person competion in the future. Always want to try one but not quite possible for my work schedules though.
BFR Training
Hi! I know you’re a huge proponent of BFR training and its benefits. Curious if you think all BFR cuffs are created equally? Do you have a specific brand you would recommend?

I am also looking into BFR cuffs recently. Have you tried smart tools before too? I'm betweeen smart tools and SAGA now.

@Kyle Ruth I think I made a decision then! 😂 Thanks for the details. Also can’t wait to listen to the BFR podcast you did with coach Ed from the Process next Monday 💪
Anyone up for an experiment?
I have created an algorithm that can predict your "max sustainable pace" for sport-specific movements (like RMU, burpees, box jump overs, light TnG power snatches, etc). I'm really excited about the prospects of this... but I need to gather data. The tests are simple, Day-1 - 1min max rep of the movement Day-3 - 5min max rep of the movement For example Monday - 1min max reps RMU Wednesday - 5min max reps RMU These need to be done in a low-fatigue environment so before metcons / etc within training. All I need are those two data points and I can provide you with some really cool data that you can use inside training and competition. The movement selection doesn't matter as I am (fairly) confident that the formula I've come up with will predict sustainable rep-rates regardless of the movement. If anyone is interested in participating... let me know (1) what you're planning to test, and then (2) just upload your results directly here.

I'm thinking like I can do some basics like TTB or strict pull up

@Kyle Ruth sounds good! I'll go for TTB then!
Anyone using the WurQ Workout Tracking System?
Is anyone playing around with the new WurQ tracking stuff? I've been using it for 3 weeks and I think this COULD be a game changer for competitors training in the sport. I've been doing this for 15 years at this point have have learned from every session I've done so far about my rep speed, where I rest, which movements are actually driving HR metrics... this is really really cool. Also working on a database of movement speeds across every movement I've done so far -- at some point we'll be able to do athlete profiling to take assessments a step further than just knowing splits to knowing actual movement speeds, which movements we need to develop speed vs endurance, etc. If you're using this, let me know and I'd love to know what you're learning from it.

I’ve been considering getting one recently. Do you think it’s worth buying for what I’m training currently?

@Kyle Ruth Is this mainly beneficial for movement speed tracking? Do they have features that’d be useful for strength oriented training? I’m not very familiar with the features in it.
Conjugate Method in Crossfit Training
Hi everyone! Hope you’re all doing well! Does anyone have recommended materials about the conjugate method for CF training? I tried to search online and there are a lot of information already but I don' know where to start with. For example: 1. What does the max effort in conjugate training normally means? 2. How does then conjugate method apply to different types of CF athletes? I'd highly vote for having one of the office hour or the Stimulus Podcast discussing this topic. Cheers!

Thanks coach! Already a very detailed intro for this. It seems like many big programs and coaches are cooperating this method into their CF programming. Gotta go listen to these podcasts!
