"The One Wing Chun Principle That Unlocks Effortless Power (Most Never Discover It)"
Most martial artists, and most people, are still trapped. They respond to resistance with more resistance. They meet pressure with tension. They try to overcome chaos with control. And they call it strength. But it isn’t strength. It’s struggle. And struggle is the sign you’ve stepped out of true power. Real power is never tense. It doesn’t push. It doesn’t resist. Power doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from letting go. Letting go of the need to fight. Letting go of the instinct to react. Letting go of the idea that force is the answer. True power arises from a different place. A deeper place. A still place. It’s structural, not muscular. It’s spiritual, not emotional. It’s intentional, not reactive. The shift is simple… but life-changing. You don’t need to fight. You need to center. You need to sense. You need to sink. And above all, you need to align with your highest intention. When your mind and body align with peace, love, strength, and stillness, your energy changes. Your presence changes. Your results change. Power absorbs force. Just like compassion absorbs conflict. Just like presence absorbs chaos. Just like love absorbs fear. You’re not here to push. You’re here to transmit. Not force… but power. This is the real work. To stop fighting the world and start mastering yourself. To realize that the same principle that dissolves tension in combat… also dissolves tension in marriage, in business, in life. When someone criticizes you, do you meet them with force? Or can you stay in your power? When life gets loud, can you stay still? When fear rises, can you stay soft? The great ones don’t fight force with force. They dissolve it through presence. So the next time you feel resistance rising… remember: You don’t need to match it. You don’t need to beat it. You simply need to return to your center. From that space, you’re untouchable. Not because you overpower the world… But because the world can no longer overpower you. Don’t fight force with force.

For me the greatest challenge not to use force and stay in my power/centered is in my marriage Great reminder @Sifu John Cogan 🙏🏼 Thnx very much🌟

What activity/s do you find it easiest to bring the State into (outside of Wing Chun)? 🔥❤️🔥
We all know that one of the number one aims of training Internal Wing Chun is to activate the State within us and bring it into our training for ultimate power generation. The State however is intended to be brought into all areas of life ❤️ Where do you guys use it the most? I practice being in State daily whilst out pushing the pram, shopping, showering etc I use centring in my highest intention when ever I’m in a situation that seems a little intense (so good for Xmas shopping in busy malls). I use surrender/sinking and sensing when negative emotions arise….. Would love to hear from you guys 🙏🔥🙏

The intention is to be in the state (or at least centered) all day. And the easiest moment is riding the scooter to work, sitting and centering. Getting into the state is easier in opposition to maintaining it during all day activities, there lays the challenge for me
"Grow into it"
When we were young we were told we would "grow into it" (insert yours here) As an adolescent, when buying the 'new school year' clothing and such, they were always purchased larger so I could "grow into them" as my physical being was growing in size until I reached my vertical limit, now I do not have to do this. I grew outwardly mentally as my experiences increased, older meant more exploration and expression of a growing inner self via job(s), getting out of my local shell, moving to another state for college and university, growing new relationships with world wide cultural diversity resulting in many paradigm shifts over my last 50 years or so. I have entered another paradigm shift with my WC training...Sifu John was gracious enough to offer us a very in-depth training regiment, not only the physical side of WC but the internal portion as well. Some could say that the internal side carries more weight that the physical forms...to each their own. I have intentionally taken some time off, not train at all, or skip days as I stated in an earlier post to let all of his rekindled and new found knowledge soak and sink in, now that it has digested in a bit...the results are easily stated as "I feel fantastic every day"...calm, relaxed, happy. Looking back at the last 1 year journey, I realize how I got to where I am today...via the rekindled and maturing of the new found knowledge If we look at CST SNT, "little idea", one can ask 'if there is a little idea...is there a bigger idea'? I say yes, that would be 'The State'. SNT is the seed for State, each of the elements of State is the fertilizer for the seed. Sifu has mentioned Dr. Hawkins Force vs Power, which is very powerful in itself, as 'to read' which gives explanations of Positive/Power and Negative/Force emotional states that will nurture or deconstruct State development, and even everyday life Wing Chun or not... My minds eye has opened a little wider of late, looking at things as energy which can give a quick sense of 'is this good' or 'is this bad', listening to what words collogues use in conversations (ref. Power vs Force) to see how that aligns with the energy received from the same person. Never thought I would be doing this on a conscious level.

👋 Hi, I’m Michel! I’m from the Netherlands and I’m here with the Wing Chun Fam to develop more inner power⚡️⚡️⚡️ For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Create electronic music🎶 2.  Do research on topics like consciousness, universal laws and how rhythm affects our body and mind. 3. Teach people the things I’ve learned. This year I’ve developed a holistic frequency therapy based on the Meridian frequencies of Dr. Manaka, which helped me to release my scoliose. Toward the end of this year I’m starting classes to train people my methode for self-optimalisation💪🏻🌟 I came here to learn Wing Chun when I heard Sifu John talk about Dr. Hawkings. I thought WOW🤯 Dr. Hawkins combined with Kung Fu, that’s freaking awesome, right?! Great to meet you all. And for now, have a great weekend! Michel.
