"Grow into it"
When we were young we were told we would "grow into it" (insert yours here)
As an adolescent, when buying the 'new school year' clothing and such, they were always purchased larger so I could "grow into them" as my physical being was growing in size until I reached my vertical limit, now I do not have to do this.
I grew outwardly mentally as my experiences increased, older meant more exploration and expression of a growing inner self via job(s), getting out of my local shell, moving to another state for college and university, growing new relationships with world wide cultural diversity resulting in many paradigm shifts over my last 50 years or so.
I have entered another paradigm shift with my WC training...Sifu John was gracious enough to offer us a very in-depth training regiment, not only the physical side of WC but the internal portion as well. Some could say that the internal side carries more weight that the physical forms...to each their own.
I have intentionally taken some time off, not train at all, or skip days as I stated in an earlier post to let all of his rekindled and new found knowledge soak and sink in, now that it has digested in a bit...the results are easily stated as "I feel fantastic every day"...calm, relaxed, happy.
Looking back at the last 1 year journey, I realize how I got to where I am today...via the rekindled and maturing of the new found knowledge
If we look at CST SNT, "little idea", one can ask 'if there is a little idea...is there a bigger idea'? I say yes, that would be 'The State'. SNT is the seed for State, each of the elements of State is the fertilizer for the seed. Sifu has mentioned Dr. Hawkins Force vs Power, which is very powerful in itself, as 'to read' which gives explanations of Positive/Power and Negative/Force emotional states that will nurture or deconstruct State development, and even everyday life Wing Chun or not...
My minds eye has opened a little wider of late, looking at things as energy which can give a quick sense of 'is this good' or 'is this bad', listening to what words collogues use in conversations (ref. Power vs Force) to see how that aligns with the energy received from the same person. Never thought I would be doing this on a conscious level.
All this said...we don't know what we don't know, willing suspend any dis-belief, be patient, open your mind for experiencing what some would say is 'crazy stuff' regarding internal energy, others energy fields, etc. and start / continue your a journey of Peace, Love and Harmony. As we continue our development, the path will be charged with many obstacles, some are easy to over come, some have to be waited on to clear, sometimes we need to take a steps back to take another fork and analyze the next step, remember where you came from and focus on what's next...it is how we react / overcome that makes the person mindful.
I do hope this makes since...
Grateful to grow with you great people !!
