What does everybody think about fragrances like Azzure Aoud or Oud Maracuja?
Just got this fragrance the other day and I know that many people kind of speak about it being a dupe of or clone of Oud Maravuja, and honestly, I’m still trying to figure out whether I like the fragrance or not. This is the only fragrance I have that has made me question Oud in general. I know Oud can be either a hit or miss with people, but I was wondering to see what this community thought about it. This will help me in my next decision on what to do with this fragrance. I also want to macerated it for a little bit to see if it changes things in the near future.

I really liked Oud Maracuja the first time I tried it at Neiman Marcus. However 10 minutes later I tried Oud Stallion and thats the one for me. Just a oud accord and leather. The passion fruit is nice in Maracuja but to me id get less wear out of it. I really dont need to be in the mood for Oud Stallion if its cool out and im headed out its a easy grab
Xerjoff Torino 25 edp
Fresh, citrus, fruity.. Like a blue fragrance in the neighborhood of BDC and Versace Dylan Blue but very very briefly.. Then the Oudy, leathery nuance creeps in slowly... Eventually the fresh spicy (saffron), smoky, green (Juniper), incency vibe slides in.. Like Interlude Man but considerably dialed down and comes in intermittently.. Then becomes woody, aromatic and earthy.. very complex opening.. Appropriate for the office and casual to formal evenings out Good projection and sillage Not a beast mode Xerjoff release Best for Fall and Winter Powdery, soft suede-leather, woody, bit ambery, still smoky on dry down Classic Xerjoff bottle, deep blue; weighted golden cap; decent atomizer Good longevity Prominent for 2-3 hours and stays as subtle skin and clothes scent for 3-4 more hours Good to great overall performance The complexity and transition is impressive I would highly recommend XJ Torino 25 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite underwhelming compared to Torino 21 and 22 Better than 23 and 24 For me, at the moment this is rank #3 in the Torino line.. Very high-quality, well-blended, elegant

Torino 21 was always going to be hard to surpass. 22 is good like you said 23 well I just gifted it away but it was bad enough I lost interest in the line may need to pick this one up. I love incense

Honestly, lost mine awhile back and its been refreshing for me. I now interact in the conversations that I feel i have some value to add and dont feel the need to just reply and like everything in order to maintain the flame. You may feel different about it but its actually renewed my interest
3 Fragrance Layer Today
So playing around last night asked AI what would be a solid lay in 45-65 degree temps in Houston today and it spit this one out. Base layer Hacivat Mid layer Amouage Search Top lay Xerjoff Nio Actually smells really nice in the air. I will say that make sure when using Hacivat from Nishane as a layering fragrance be careful with the trigger. Ive either gone nose blind to the other two or its overpowering them.

@Ben E suprised but it actually worked. Also surprised that Hacivat was completely noticeable with two sprays most of the day. Opened my eyes I usually spray it 6-7 times

I got some of the recent acquisitions in. The big Tumi 19 degree show piece (alas it’s empty) was a gift from the mind games/tumi vender at Nordstrom. It made my day 🤣🤣
