@Jeff Wood It was good, now getting a bit relax. I have no problem getting my face under water, also can hold breath but when it comes to coordinate breast stroke, i panic and hurry to reach wall. Just need to relax and coordinate calmly. I know how to coordinate legs and hands but panicking is the problem
How to Stand Up From A Back Float
Caribe Nation, Many of you have asked how to stand up from a backfloat. Step 1: Slowly look at your toes Step 2: Bring your knees into your chest Step 3: Do a BIG circle with your arm(s) Step 4: Bring your feet to the ground Remember, practice is the key to proficiency. Standing Up Help!
Caribe Nation, For most new swimmers, their biggest fear is sinking... But, with a few simple Caribe Swim tips, that fear of sinking completely reverses… And becomes a fear of standing up. We transition from thinking we can never swim To swimming so well, we don’t know how to get back down. Sound Familiar? Leave a comment below! In this video, Coach Meredith will explain staying inside your ‘zone of comfort’, not pushing beyond your comfort zone, and then helping Brenda & Marshall learn how to stand up! Watch Here: Standing Up is The Process & The Outcome You will notice different standing-up techniques… ALL OF THEM ARE PERFECT: Example 1: ‘The Push Off’ Example 2: ‘The Confident Standup’ Example 3: ‘The Barely Touch’ Example 4: ‘The Just Sink’ AND… In the final example, you see me doing the following 3 steps: 1. Driving my arms to my waist  2. Shifting my legs underneath me 3. Pushing my legs to the bottom of the pool and lifting my head ALL work perfectly. Remember, our goal is to stand up. Don’t worry so much about what it looks like… Just… Stand… Up!… Watch here: Standing Up is The Process & The Outcome 💪 BIG Love, Coaches Jeff and Meredith P.S. Let us know if you like these short and helpful technique videos! Leave a comment below! We LOVE hearing from you 🙂

Panicking standing up in water
I’m learning to swim, have already taken, must be 50 half an hour lessons! But got one problem. I’m so scared to to stand up. I can float but because of fear of standing up I panicked. My instructor teaches children but teaching adult is like side business. He straight away teach me to do front crawl and breast stroke but until and unless if I’m not confident standing up how I’m supposed to swim. I told him number of times but he don’t listen. By the way I’m from Uk. Can you please guide me step by step how to practice standing up. Thanks

@Jeff Wood Thanks a lot Jeff. You are star! I’ll keep on practicing standing up after floating. Will ask someone to watch me as our gym swimming pool we don’t have lifeguard but the pool is 4ft 1 inch all the way. Thanks again Jeff. I’ll let you know my progress.
