Getting Ready for Tax Season + Knowing Your Numbers
Hey guys, my name is Ben, former podcast guest and window cleaning business owner. Alongside the OWNR OPS team, I've created a quick course that is now in the Classroom here on school. The subject is how to get your bookkeeping straight, understand your numbers, and be ready for tax season. Please take a look, and let me know if you have any feedback to make it more useful! A little more about myself: - I currently run Dialed In Bookkeeping, a bookkeeping firm for the Home Services and Construction Industries - We work with one of Austin's many companies (Dude is impressive!) - I have been an owner operator of two home services companies, CFO/Money Guy of a construction subcontractor, and IT Integrator for a now 24m revenue General Contractor - My mission is to help contractors be more successful via education and services related to financial literacy. I am a huge fan of this group and want to help anyone who needs it! Feel free to DM me whenever. Lastly, if you do not want to do your bookkeeping yourself we have an great offer for OWNR OPS group members. Thanks all, Happy Thanksgiving, and I'm rooting for you for an awesome year end!

@Austin Gray anything to help!
The Simple Fix for Stalled Revenue
Many business owners chase any job. But small tickets keep you stuck. Try this: - Track your average job size. - Aim to increase it by 20% in the next 90 days. - Bundle services into bigger packages. - Price by value, not hours. Example: Moving average job size from $850 to $1,200 added $25K in one quarter. Bigger jobs mean fewer stops and more margin.

While you're at it might as well job cost the whole project. Take a look at the attached spreadsheet with some self explanatory columns you can fill out to see how much profit you make on jobs as well as your average job size
