It’s true, I don’t need my own time. I need to be there for others, I need others to be there with me. My wife and kids are away for the weekend, and while I’ve been able to tick off a few odd jobs around the house, it’s just not the same without family, without kids pulling at your legs asking for things, asking for everything. My life is complete when I am supporting others. Whether it’s family or work colleagues, if we’re working things out together, working out the best way to do things, working our way through life, that’s where I am most at ease. 👉👉👉Where do you prefer to be? Doing your own thing or being surrounded by people? I actually prefer to have crazy shit going on in life, because when life is crazy, that’s where stories happen. That’s where the romance is. That’s where we all grow. That’s where the love is. That’s why I love being on Skool so much. It’s your stories, it’s your struggles, it’s your wins, it’s your hits. So long as we’re going through them together, this place is going great as far as I’m concerned. Looking after each other and supporting each other to grow. It’s days like these that make building a community so worthwhile. Just out of the blue, I came across a post that @Daniel Halls had made in another community. We had a quick back and forth, before realising we’re really looking at going similar things with our communities. Helping people realise the value of Human Skills, particularly how they can help us in life and work. Less than 24hrs later we were face to face on a Skool Live, blabbering on for almost 2 hours about life, emotional intelligence, building community and how we can best support each other. It’s been absolutely, positively delightful meeting you Dan. Looking forward to doing some very cool things in the future.
