@Nural Seker That’s exactly why this community exists. To help make work a great place to be. It’s often a complex tale, but well worth the effort.

@Nural Seker These things are often provided to test us. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have family in a war zone, let alone a country with regime behaviour like that. Rough deal. Hope you’re doing well. Thanks heaps for watching the video. It’s been emotional.

Lagging Metrics Need To Go
Next week, I'm stepping into a meeting that has the potential to affect the way we measure safety in the Air Force. If it works, it may bring significant cultural change. Instead of chasing how many accidents we've had 💥lagging indicators💥 (how most organisations have measured safety since forever), it's time to be way more proactive with tools like Learning Teams and the 4Ds as reportable 💪leading indicators💪 Can't do it alone. If you guys had the opportunity to talk to people about a generational change like this, what innovative approach would you use to get after it?

Monday Gratitude With Sick Kid
Really grateful for my wife to be at home today looking after her two-year-old. She’s sick with a cough and a runny nose, and it makes me remember a few essential needs that I consider are really good for kids: 1. Strong, constant attachment to caring adults who are truly present 2. The security of knowing they don’t have to work or perform to keep their parents' love. They can simply rest in it. 3. The freedom to feel and express all of their emotions fully, without rejection or shame 4. Structured free play in nature. Not screens, not apps, just real open exploration. When these four needs are met, children thrive. When they’re missing, the damage shows up later in life. What are your thoughts on this? Do you have principles for children that you follow?

Welcoming Dean
Yesterday I ran into a good friend and mentioned what I'm doing here in Skool. We've worked together a few times over the years and showed so much excitement about the Skool community concept. I think it's because you get the pain that organisations feel. Welcome @Dean Cox It's absolutely wonderful to have you onboard mate. There are some amazing people within this community. I fully encourage you to join communities that you can relate to. There is a ton of value to be had in this place. Thanks for coming along.
