I Came Back With a Backpack Full Of Interviews
Hi BTٍE ! I was away for three weeks, and during that time I was studying. I passed my final engineering exam, and in the next few months, I’ll receive my license and officially become a Canadian Engineer as my honor. This system has truly amazed me 💜 I believe that I am doing my bit very well in accordance with coach @Alex B's courses! Once I finished my exam this week, I immediately started communicating with the people who had accepted my connection requests two weeks ago. As a result, I managed to secure three interviews from those two with recruiters and one with a hiring manager panel of four. All of them were pleased with how the interviews went, and each of the roles offered a salary above $130K. My final interview this week was yesterday with AECON. They mentioned they would get back to me within the next couple of weeks and asked about my availability. I told them one month. I also asked what they would expect me to accomplish in the first few months if I were hired. Their response was: training, building communication with colleagues and managers, and maintaining punctuality. The department director added that if I’m selected, an HR representative will contact me to go over details regarding benefits, compensation, the work environment, and more. I’m very optimistic about landing this job, but I’ll continue pursuing more interviews next week ...

📗Day 3 Pre-Task(B) – Winning Resume Blueprint
Take a screenshot, then copy and paste the first page of your resume in the comments (and don’t delete it! in the next task, I will teach you to improve it and replace it here , so we can compare before and after) .(if you have multiple resume, submit the best one only, or the project resume - if you don’t know what a project resume is , I will talk about it tonight on Day 3 live) I have attached first 2 pages of my resume but this is only for your informational purposes, you dont need to change your resume now. Just submit whatever you have. P.s. my resume is called a project resume and it is a template we were given at Big4 from KPMG times and yes this is how things are at Top consulting firms in the world (Take this tip as a bonus if you made it to Day 3 😉 and do something good to return the favour when times come😎)

I got my first interview after 8 days, and it is my biggest win so far. I recommend this community to my friends because we can achieve more as a group, and this community provides this opportunity to us.
Networking
Most people approach networking only when they need a job ! and that’s the exact moment it’s already too late. Recently, I realized something important: opportunities don’t come from random luck… they come from relationships we build before we need them. So I’m curious to learn from this community: 👉 What’s one networking habit that has actually helped you grow your career? For me, the biggest shift was this: I stopped sending generic messages and started building real conversations, one person at a time. It changed everything👌

So true, networking isn’t a last-minute job search strategy; it’s a long-term investment in relationships. For me, the habit that changed everything was shifting from How can this person help me? How can I bring value to this conversation?
Small Win, Big Motivation: I Got My First Interview!
After just 8 days of fully updating my resume, optimizing my LinkedIn profile, and applying with more intention, I’m excited to share that I landed my first job interview with FanDuel. This feels like a real milestone. Not just because it’s a great company, but because it showed me something important: 👉 When you take your job search seriously 👉 When you refine your strategy 👉 When you show up consistently… Results start showing up faster than you think. Over the last week, I focused on: - Rebuilding my resume from scratch - Improving my LinkedIn visibility - Targeting roles that matched my skills - Staying consistent every single day And today, the work paid off. This is just the beginning, but I’m grateful for the progress and even more excited for what’s next. If you’re still applying, keep going. One positive opportunity can change everything. Onwards. 🚀
