Feedback wanted: should I do a podcast on parenting?
Hey guys, I don't want to step outside my lane but I've had numerous requests for my thoughts on parenting. I've hesitated because I'm not a parenting expert, and consider myself an amateur enthusiasts re child psychology. That being said, if you think you'd benefit from me doing a podcast about what parenting strategies and techniques I believe will create the most confident children, I'm happy to do it. Should I, or am I straying too far out of my lane?

Haters Gonna Hate...
Daily Dose of Integrity In my recent podcast interview with certified psychopath Jackson Noble we were talking about not caring what other people think. One of the main things he considers is this idea that nobody above you will hate on you. So whenever he receives unsolicited criticism from others, his first thought is, They're probably doing worse than me. And I thought, you know what? I'm going to investigate that. I went into my YouTube comments and my other comments sections and looked for the hate. And then I did some poking around about the people who had written those comments. Now it's hard to glean much from somebody's social media life, but I couldn't see any evidence that they were excelling in any way that would make me look up to them. There's nothing they were doing that I admired in health, wealth, relationships, whatever. I’m not saying I’m “better” than these people, I’m just saying there’s nothing they got that I want. Here’s the crazy thing: I can’t find any exceptions to this rule! It seems rational to assume at least sometimes you get hated on by people above you, but is there any proof of this happening?? And I've seen the same with my clients. All the people they're most worried about getting hate from are people doing worse than them. I'm keen to hear from you guys. Do you ever get hate from above you?

I agree! Also, I think that most often, people who are in a way above me probably at some point have started out where I am and know the effort it gets to get started and do the work. Sometimes the work is internal and results are not yet visible. And yet many of us have a different starting point and goal, we just coincide on our paths for a while, so I see critique more of a personal statement of low consciousness or projection. Whenever I read negative comment somehow I think that person is really looking through a dark lense of their own disappointment or low self esteem. Comparing for orientation (where we are) is a standard most of us learned in school. Wouldn't it be awesome to become inspired and cheer each other up instead to see how far we can go?
