Content production after acquisition with S.A.M.
Question about S.A.M. Let's say I've purchased an audience for a pittance. Fantastic... but haven't I also now saddled myself with the need to produce content for that audience (emails, posts, whatever the media is) in order to keep that audience happy, opening emails, etc? Also the original owner may have had a particular style that resonated with that audience. Not saying it's not worth it... but I don't hear much about how to handle the content aspect. Or have I missed something obvious?
Write SHORTER T1s!
As a general rule of thumb... We want T1s to be like a mini-skirt! SHORT! But leave a little bit for the imagination... The smaller the audience... The newer the offer is to us... The shorter we want the T1. Here is a short one I whipped up in 3 minutes for a coaching offer: ******************************************* Subj: the roadmap from $100k to $500k a year Coaches who find hitting $100k a year pretty easy... Don't know how close they are to $500k a year! Adding only 16 new clients at $25,000 each mints $400,000 extra a year. for ya math nerdz, that's 1.33 clients per month. Where do you find $25,000 clients? That's the simplest and most surprising part. Hint: We don't do it by posting more and more content. We're taking our next group of $100k superstars and guiding them on the roadmap to $500,000 a year. Would you like to join us? CTA SIGN OFF ****************************************** If this doesn't get responses...NOW I can troubleshoot it. I don't know what went wrong if it's fifty-eleven paragraphs long. In the offer dial-up stage... šŸ‘‰šŸ‘‰Conversations are more important than SALES. When do we write LONGER T1s? AFTER we've got the offer dialed in... AND... We've got a huge audience where we actually want to CHOKE OFF response. Figuring out short, benefit-only T1s was a blessing for me and my team. We try and keep them one page or so in a G Doc. MORE only makes more work for all of us AND we don't figure out what our audience REALLY wants. When we write 3 short T1s we might get... Email 1: 13 responses. Email 2: 5 responses Email 3: 85 responses Now we know what they REALLY respond to. NOT what we think they will and then drown out by 7 pages of details. SAVE the details for AFTER the T2. We want CONVOS!! Let DATA make our decisions. Not tryna whip up the William Shakespeare of T1s šŸ˜€ Rooting For Ya, Travis

@Travis Sago When you say you're using "short, benefit-only T1s" ... are you saying you aren't testing Present Pain at this point? I thought leading with present pain was the key. Or maybe I'm confused: in Planet Mojo terms, where or how does pre-selling (the 5 Ps) fit in with the T1, T2, T3 process? (How are they related to each other)

@Travis Sago True! šŸ˜‚ I guess to me the word "benefit" is associated more with Heaven than Hell and your example seemed more of the "what you get"/Heaven side of things so I got the wrong idea. Thanks for the clarification.
Bribe!
I need your help on pricing. You will get a waaaay better deal (if I offer it)... What price should I offer it to the ā€œpublicā€?? šŸ‘‰My Bribe: Watch the video. Give me your pricing advice šŸ‘‡. I'll give any commenters the Mojo Mastermind training I am giving to my MM today. (see the pic.) Thanks heaps in advance! I was thinking two things as I was watching this. First, it looks super valuable (maybe a $5000+ one-time purchase?) But secondly: It's an *overwhelming* amount of information... almost too much. My brain is already overloaded with copious quantities of information. (It'd take 2 years to go through 700 sessions, doing them once a day.) So what would be MORE valuable is knowing how to zero in on what's most applicable to me, and applying that information strategically. (Maybe it could be as simple as sorting the sessions by what had the greatest impact on people's bottom lines. Maybe have your mastermind members vote on that?) But all this depends on intended audience: Ronin who already have lots of cashflow who are looking to tweak or add to what they're doing? Or people who are starting from scratch who shouldn't be buying endless information when what they really need is help putting together a rock-solid strategy they feel great about running with, so they can later afford $48k masterminds or $5k one-off purchases? šŸ™‚
I'm starting ALL potential partner talks with "NO"
You may or may not like this approach for yourself, but it's working well for me lately. With EVERY new potential partner I connect with, I assume it's a NO and I need good reasons for it to become a YES. Just today, I had a person who does "social media story-selling: telling stories on social media that get you paid"... and guess what she wanted... you already know... someone to sell her program for her. Basically, her story-selling system doesn't work for her, but she wants to sell it to other people. Her email list was just over 500 and she had different levels of followers on the social channels. I immediately told her, "I wouldn't be much good for you." She wanted explanations. She ain't gettin em. Then I had a call with someone else today who I assumed is a NO for me. Turns out, he's got a group where he teaches podcasters to make money. And he's just partnered with a podcaster with a 50k list who claims 46% opens. I've potentially got the 10 of hearts for them. He's going to look into the partner more and get back to me. I'm still a NO, but the right conditions make me a YES. For me, this is much better than starting at YES and needing to be whacked with a 2x4 to become a NO. I hope this helps in some way.

This post reminded me of the book "Start with No" by the great Jim Camp: https://www.amazon.com/Start-No-Negotiating-Tools-that-ebook/dp/B003EY7JEE/

Happy Friday everyone! With @Travis Sago's blessing, I wanted to provide an unrestricted account in my whitelabeled HighLevel platform to anyone here who is building their own list. Whether you don't yet have a CRM or want to switch over existing lists, I'm happy to provide access. I've setup a Ronin-Only package that includes access to the entire suite of tools from HighLevel including Email, SMS, Automations, Funnel Builder, Appointment Calendars, etc with no monthly fees. You'll just need to cover usage for any emails/sms you send. Also, if you need additional assistance with setup or tips on how best to use the system, I'm happy to help. Just shoot me a DM and we'll get you going. To setup your account access, use this link - https://buy.stripe.com/bIY4jsbG2fe48AE5ko?prefilled_promo_code=ronin100 If the 100% discount doesn't show up automatically, use Promo Code RONIN100. EDIT: The system will ask for a card to be added in order to cover the cost of any email/sms usage but otherwise, there's no cost. The card you add will be used to maintain a wallet balance to be used for usage based on the settings you choose in Settings > Billing > Wallet & Transactions. Let me know if you have any issues or questions!
