Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme
Today I’m going back to one of my signature scents for years. The bottle on the picture is actually the last one I bought years ago, I haven’t wear it in years (I need to get a replacement). I definitely miss the 1994 formulation that I remember had more punch and character. This 2012 formulation is a reminiscence of the OG, a modernized “fougère” that seems more subtle but is still a beautiful and alluring citrusy, floral, and spiced delightful scent. However, it’s an already overlooked masterpiece. It’s very easy to wear, great for the heart, gets compliments, with good protection and longevity.

Still own and love this myself. Definitely in my top 10 too 👍🏼
SOTD – Dior Fahrenheit EDT
I’ve been actively going through my samples and decants for a long time now, and this one has sat on the back of the shelf for over a year and a half. I think that merits absolutely bringing it out. First time I wore it, I wasn’t very impressed. I didn’t like the diesel vibe, and didn’t get much out of it. But wearing it today, I find myself more than a little impressed. This was created in 1988, and it smells more sophisticated and interesting than a lot of the stuff I have been wearing over the last year. I am honestly gob smacked with how much I like it. This is going to be in my regular rotation for the rest of the summer, and now I really wanna try the parfum concentration that @Michael LoCascio Sr goes on about. On a somewhat related note, I’ve been trying more classic fragrances, influenced perhaps by aqua de Geo. Last night I wore Mugler’s angel, and tonight, I’m planning to wear Angel phantasm. What are some other classics that I should try?

@Stephen DeMent both lost excellent and bottle worthy fragrances, but I’m biased obviously. The Cologne flanker is also fantastic but discontinued and hard to find.

SOTD: West Loop
Hey guys Joe A here with today's scent of the day, Day 272: West Loop by Michael Malul London. Fragrantica lists West Loop as a 2023 men's fragrance by perfumer Gabriela Chelariu, with almond blossom, cinnamon, and vanilla orchid up top, myrrh, tobacco, and lavender in the middle, and tonka bean, amberwood, and patchouli in the base. If you like sweet warm spicy tobacco scents with almond-vanilla polish and a smooth amber-woods drydown, this one is worth checking out. First sniff: Like nice music in a lounge jacket holding the door opening, knowing exactly what it's doing. Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/o8AmMKe4xBU

The red glass definitely looks bold.
Another farewell..
I sure do love a nice goodbye. I can’t remember when I picked this bottle up however today was its final voyage. Works perfect on a hot summer day outside with family delivering high quality BDC dna for all to enjoy. Happy Father’s Day brothers. Smell great out there.
Another farewell..
