SOTD: 1 Million edt by Paco Rabanne 22/01/2026
Here is another decant that turned into a full bottle. Whilst its nothing that will blow you away, its a solid performer in the edt range. For anyone whom hasnt crossed paths with this one its a nice spicey/woody/leather fragrance. Comes in that classic gold bar bottle design. The opening is a fresh, spicy, citrusy mix. You'll immediately notice the bright, juicy notes of blood mandarin, grapefruit, with just a hint of sharp peppermint. This initial burst is what gives the fragrance a vibrant, almost effervescent quality. As the scent develops, it moves into that warm & spicier territory. Cinnamon is a dominant note here, providing a sweet, spicy warmth. This is balanced with a subtle floral touch of rose, which adds a touch of depth. The dry-down is where the fragrance gets its signature richness & longevity. The base is composed of a distinctive leather accord, which is both smooth & masculine. This is complemented by notes of amber & patchouli, which add an earthy long-lasting finish. One of the defining characteristics of 1 Million EDT is its impressive performance. It has excellent staying power, lasting a good 6 hours on the skin. The projection, is also very strong. It's designed to be a "power frag" that can be detected from a distance, making it ideal for situations where you want to be noticed. However, this powerful sillage is also a reason it can be considered overwhelming in certain settings, like an office. I guess the amount of flankers it has produce attest to its popularity. My Rating: 7/10 Scent: 2 Longevity:2 Sillage:2 Y/N:1

I always heard this was overly sweet but it sounds great. I have actually avoided getting this because of the negative things I have heard. I mean its not your highest rating but the description you gave makes it sound really good… I’m TORN!!!
Retail Therapy Haul
A little retail therapy today since laying my dad to rest yesterday. Heard a lot of hype with these, so I wanted to try out. So glad I did! Can’t wait to give each of these a full wearing. I’m BLOWN AWAY by Asad Elixir and how close it is to Boss Bottled Absolu. BBA is one of my top 5 favorite fragrances of all time, and Asad Elixir is extremely close. Opening is different, but the dry down is 1:1. It’s absolutely incredible what these Middle Eastern brands are doing right now. Such a great time to be in the fragrance game.

Nice job
Fake YSL Y Eau Fraiche?
What do you guys think? I got this on eBay. Seems fake to me. The atomizer doesn’t click into place and leaks. Also the atomizer sprays better than my other Y’s. Also the font on the sticker code looks wrong.

Ebay is super shady.
The Montagne verdict
I like this house. I purchased six bottles last year and have given them all a decent running. The perfumes are consistent in quality and all quite smooth after a few weeks. But I definitely have favorites. I might order a few others but the problem is always stock availability. I'm weighing these against the originals. I have owned or sampled all the inspirations so I can do the two arm test. I. Alcantara Supreme. This is Chanel Allure Homme Superleggera. I was actually very pleased with the Chanel limited release. The Montagne has an intense grapefruit opening with a somewhat coarse citrus wood heart. Aldehydes are the main note to me. I think this is a fair representation of Allure but it's lacking that something special from the Chanel. The clone can stand on its own though. 8/10 II. Brooklyn Jazz. It's Maison Margiela Jazz Club. I love that one. I'm wearing it tonight. Unfortunately the prices on testers doubled last year. The EDT is often stated as the downside but I get good performance and lift with it. The Montagne is an airier version that's lacking the deep rum underpinning of the MM. It's pretty close but the performance is around 2 hours. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing Jazz Club. 5/10 III. Carnal Grey Extrait. Gris Charnel Parfum, and this one delivers well. The fig vanilla isn't as creamy but the spicy tea comes through. I won't be missing the MFK with this bottle. 9/10 IV. Sicilian Tobacco (2025). The newest Naxos clone. People had complaints about the former versions. I think there are three now. This one SLAYS. It's a little less honeyed than Naxos. It's not going to replace the Xerjoff but it's fantastic. 10/10 V. Monkey Special. It's... Monkey Special from the Xerjoff Iommi line. It smells a lot like Monkey Special. I don't think it's as raw or potent as the Xerjoff and I can only get ~4 hours from it. I was expecting this one to be nuclear but it kind of leans into passionfruit over rum and leather. It's a little different than other MS clones I have in an odd way, like Coke vs RC Cola. Good but not in the same league as Xerjoff. 8/10
