Feed Only Strategy
I’d really appreciate some advice. I’m currently running a fully built Performance Max campaign for skin creams, body gels, and shampoos. It’s a very competitive niche, with products priced under $50. I’ve been struggling to improve ROAS—every time I try to scale or optimise, performance drops significantly. At the moment, I’m running: - One branded search campaign - One fully built Performance Max campaign There’s also an issue where Google is incorrectly flagging my products (Eczema) under health-related advertising policies. Because of this, my ads are sometimes limited or not shown at all. I’m considering testing a feed-only Performance Max campaign and have a few questions: 1. Should I run a separate test by keeping my current fully built Performance Max campaign and launching a new feed-only Performance Max campaign alongside it? 2. Or would it be better to add a feed-only asset group within my existing Performance Max campaign? One concern I have is that the current campaign feels “stuck.” It’s been running for months, but ROAS hasn’t improved beyond 1.2–1.3. It feels like the campaign has learned patterns that it can’t break out of. So I’m also wondering: - Would it be better to reduce the current budget (currently $70/day), and reallocate $30–$40 to a new feed-only campaign instead of modifying the existing one? Finally, if I do create a new feed-only campaign: - Should I structure it with separate asset groups by product type (e.g., body gel, cream, shampoo)? - Or is it better to include all products in a single asset group? Thanks in advance for your help.

@Christopher Krassnig Thanks, Chris. Just to clarify, these are skincare products, not supplements. The brand has been established for several years. Would you recommend adding a feed-only ad group, or would it be better to launch a completely new campaign (feed-only vs. fully built)?
keywords title - Best Practice
How can I ensure my ads appear for specific keywords in Performance Max? Is there any effective way to prioritise certain search terms? I’ve already included these keywords in my titles and descriptions, but they tend to appear in the middle rather than at the beginning, as the first part usually focuses on the type of cream I’m selling. I’m trying to understand how to better structure or optimise the text to improve visibility for those target keywords.

@Christopher Krassnig Thank you so much!! Amazing advice
Symprosys
Hi Chris, I recently switched to Symprosys on my Shopify store after previously using the YouTube & Google app. Although the app still appears to be connected to my store, I’ve noticed a significant drop in conversions. I followed the steps to connect Symprosys to Google Ads and implemented the recommended tracking setup, but it doesn’t seem to be working properly at the moment. Do I also need to install Trackbee, or should Symprosys together with the YouTube & Google app be sufficient? Additionally, my Google Ads account keeps indicating that my Shopify store needs to be connected, even though the YouTube & Google app is live. I’m not sure why this is happening. Since switching to Symprosys, my conversions have dropped significantly. Could you please advise on what might be causing this? Thank you.

@Gordan Odalovic Appreciate your reply. Do you have a tutorial on how to keep only the YouTube and Facebook app for conversions tracking, and use Symprosis just for the product feed? I’ll definitely look into your tracking recommendations — I completely agree with you on that.

@Gordan Odalovic Amazing Gordan! Thanks
Scaling?
Hi, So what I understand from the video’s of Chris is that in the early stages you want to scale fast. I am 2 week live right now on Google ads, I already scaled 3 days ago from 50 to 100 euro’s. Today I am getting Roas 2.7, when should I scale again? And do I scale with 100% again (to 200) or with 50% (to 150)?

@Christopher Krassnig can you scale ROAS without increasing budget? And if yes, how??
