Tell your friends...and everyone who needs this
I didn't think I could post my freebie here because it doesn't really fit into building a business, but then I thought of something. There are many SAHMs touching our communities who are trying to figure out how to go Back to Work but get stuck on one question: “Where do I start?” That’s exactly why I created START HERE; a simple 10-minute guide to help moms go from: “Where do I start?” → “I start tomorrow.” It walks through three quick steps: ✅Choosing a direction ✅Translating life experience into professional skills ✅Creating a clear career-pause statement 🚫No rewriting their entire life story. 🚫No apologizing for their time at home. 👉Just a clear starting point to move forward. If you have someone in your audience, community, or personal network who is trying to get back to work after being home with kids, feel free to share this with them. Sometimes people just need a place to start. START HERE

Nice work Carrie!!
Do you click on profiles?
Imagine if you could see key information floating above someone’s head at a networking event. Where they’re from. What they do.What they’re working on. Starting a conversation would be a lot easier, right? That’s exactly what profiles on Skool do. 🙂 But the real question is… Are you actually clicking on profiles and meeting people? Are you intentionally building relationships in the community? Or are you mostly just watching from the sidelines? I’ll be honest. I haven't done this as much as I used to do on social media. So I've made a change in 2026 to connect more! Clicking on profiles. Starting conversations. Building connections. Curious about you. How active are you here on Skool, and are you taking advantage of the opportunities to meet people? 👇
Do you click on profiles?
@Christine Vabre Finding out more about someone feels like a natural reason to click the profile or to follow them. But reaching out...it feels wierd. I have had one person reach out to me and I was like, "Nope." It felt like those friend requests on FB from people I didn't know. I guess I can start thinking about it in a broader way, but I am much more apt to respond to someone I've interacted with in a comment or reply.

@Wendy Breakstone Yes there is the "Are you really real?" reason to click. LOL.
Is being creative fluff or is it essential?
This is an age old discussion that keeps going back-and-forth… As an art teacher since 2016, I’ve seen creativity tick a lot of boxes: - It makes us happier. - It reduces stress - Raises dopamine and oxytocin levels. - It relieves chronic pain. - It brought me completely out of a severe panic attack. 💥 Being creative is so powerful, yet we treat it like something we can easily live without. So maybe the question isn’t do I have time to do creative things, but can I afford to live without my creativity? From my perspective, the answer is a resounding NO. 🤔 I’d love your thoughts on this in the comments! And if you’d like some help get started, I have a free group here on Skool called The Watercolor Journey. We are over 250 kind and sweet souls who are waiting to welcome you in. And if you’d like to join the $9 membership before it goes up this Tuesday, I’d love to have you. Either way, I hope you do something to connect with your creativity today, if you’re not already!

@Tracy Holmes 💯🚀🎯 It all began with creativity!
Creativity is our birth rite. From our very tiniest acts to understand the world through communication, we are creating meaning. That counts. I think folks think creativity means arts and crafts but it is so much more than that. It is ideas and understanding all the way to projects and books and pieces of art! I love it!
