This is an age old discussion that keeps going back-and-forth… As an art teacher since 2016, I’ve seen creativity tick a lot of boxes:
- It makes us happier.
- It reduces stress
- Raises dopamine and oxytocin levels.
- It relieves chronic pain.
- It brought me completely out of a severe panic attack.
💥 Being creative is so powerful, yet we treat it like something we can easily live without.
So maybe the question isn’t do I have time to do creative things, but can I afford to live without my creativity? From my perspective, the answer is a resounding NO.
🤔 I’d love your thoughts on this in the comments!
And if you’d like some help get started, I have a free group here on Skool called The Watercolor Journey. We are over 250 kind and sweet souls who are waiting to welcome you in. And if you’d like to join the $9 membership before it goes up this Tuesday, I’d love to have you. Either way, I hope you do something to connect with your creativity today, if you’re not already!
